I came here today at 4 pm to get mobile plan and they said it couldn’t be possible because they don’t have any staff to help me out. On top of that, they were already closing, even when their trade hours are up to 5:00 pm.What a poor customer service from one of the larges companies in Australia.It’s very frustrating.It would be easier to book an appointment with The King of England that with these guys.

As a Telstra regular costumer you expect a company like Telstra to be prepared to receive an audience, I came to their store in order to find out about a mobile phone package abroad and I encountered a disrespectful and impatient attitude from the store manager. The store was empty of customers except for one other person and only one service representative. It is not clear if they are in a recession and saving manpower or if this is due to the laziness of the store manager. It doesn't make sense to have to determine retirement" for such a simple question. Terrible service experience hope they take it to heart."

Last week I made a vist to the Testra Malvern store. I thought I was lucky as the store was empty of customers and there were mulitple staff available at the time. I required assistance in porting across a corporate account to a personal account. I explained that the paper work had been completed by my organisation & I had received a new SIM - I just needed assistance to setup the account & activate the phone with the new SIM (ie could he walk me through the steps). I was given the brush off and told to ring the Telstra Corporate Account manager to get the information. This is appalling customer service & deserves a bad review. How do they stay in business??

Unprofessional, unhelpful with a hint of rudeness. Walked in to sign up to a plan at 4.30 and was told not today as they were closing at 5. Left and came back at 4.52 to buy the phone outright to be told also no as they needed to check the phone? Pretty sure Australian consumer law states I can return a product if I open it at home and it's DOA. As an adult I wasn't aware I needed 'help' to turn a new phone on...

Had a horrible experience. Setting up a new phone when the sim didn’t arrive, has to return to the store three times and still haven’t had it solved. Had to go in today because the new Telstra was cut off despite all other phones on plan working fine. Got served by Ronan who refused to serve due to needing to make appt. He was completely dismissive and rude despite this being my initial experience with telstra and what most people would think is a must see situation as they have cut of phone service?? Now have to wait 4-5 days for a new sim to be sent, without a phone. Very upsetting how Ronan acted today, was hoping to be helped but still left with no service and non working phone after three weeks being a new Telstra customer. Don’t recommend.

This review is for Telstra’s after sales service.(The experience of buying 2 iPhones was excellent though. I will provide a seperate 5 star review for Lachlan when the survey from Telstra arrives).After buying 2 new iPhone 14, we took them home and commenced the process of porting from existing phones. All good and easy.The issue began when I inserted my SIM card and had to remove the phone cover (installed by Telstra at the store). The seperate camera protector cover shattered when I took it off. So I returned to the store and enquired as to why this had occurred, and seeking a replacement, only to be told that because it was ok when it left the store, it wouldn’t be replaced. I was offered the opportunity to buy a replacement at a cost of $50, which I declined.I then received an email from Telstra thanking me for the purchases to which I responded outlining my concern. I actually sent two emails because when my wife went to insert her SIM, the same issue occurred. I also called the store twice and have not received a call back to the messages I left.I then received an automated (but unrelated) SMS from the “Customer Advocacy Manager” checking in to see all was ok and to make contract if there were any issues. So, I called.Again, no answer, so I left a message with an understanding that I would, according to their voice message, call me that same day. Still waiting some 5 days later.In frustration, I went online to replace the two camera covers. Seems that the $50 quoted earlier is a significant exaggeration as to the value of these items. I purchased 3 for $10 from Amazon, delivered next day.Now that is service, Telstra!Importantly, the instructions on how to install the items was clear about how to remove the screen cover without damaging the camera cover. Had Telstra informed me of that, this issue would not have arisen.So, in summary, still waiting for a response from my 5 contacts with the Malvern store.

Kyle Redublo (assistant store manager) is totally unprofessional. Closed the store at 5pm when it closes at 5:30 citing that he didn't have staff despite having another staff member in the store. When questioned he said he has the discretion to serve me and asked me to leave. I asked him why he had attitude and he said because he is closed and that I could come back. I asked to speak to his manager and he said I am the store manager (which he isn't). I asked to take his name which he told me but wouldn't let me take a photo of his name badge. It's clear that he just wanted to go home and had no regard for customer service. Hopefully the licensee sees this and acts accordingly. Very poor

Without a doubt the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Despite no customers in the store the “greeter” flatly refused to make an appointment within 2 hours of attendance. At the time of my last attendance there were approximately 5 or 6 members of staff on site and no customers waiting. I have experienced this response at least 3 times & will NEVER attend this store again. I am local & a retailer myself who would lose my business if I treated my customers this way.

Unbelievably rude. Avoid. Walked in at 4:15pm (the front door was already partially closed...even though shop closes at 5pm) requiring a pre-paid data sim....shop was empty, but was told they are fully booked and I required an appointment and it will take at least 30mins. No appointment offered. Walked out the door, down the road to Optus and purchased what I needed from the friendly team there in under 1 minute. Total loss of business.
