In Stitches Alterations and Drycleaning Services

The staff at Institches are extremely inconsiderate. I will never use them again. I went in yesterday and spoke to a staff member about having a dress pressed as I was selling it and they confirmed it was fine to be done the next day (today) and I went in this morning and a different lady flat out refused. Extremely rude. I use this service often for dry cleaning and alterations and so does my boss. Neither of us will continue using this service.

I recently had a pair of pants taken up and after less than 5 wears the stitching fell apart .When I took the pants back to show them they wanted to charge me again to fix their poor workmanship.Terrible service considering they didn’t do the job properly the first time .The lady was rude and terrible to deal with .Do not go here unless you want bad service

Had a pair of pants ‘shortened’. Usually deal with Wendy who works here who is helpful and lovely, however dealt with the owner this time who did a terrible job. The pants were still on the ground and stitched very sloppily (if I wanted pants tailored this badly I would do it myself). When I brought them back Wendy agreed “at least another 6cm needs to be taken up and the hem should have been cut”. When picking up I was verbally abused and spoken to so rudely by the original lady/owner. If this is how you speak to long-standing loyal clientele I would hate to think how you treat others. Will not be returning. Service has deteriorated significantly since Covid - shame!

Rang up 45 mins before closing on Sunday, shot down in the car, and they were able to turn around an alteration on a pair of trousers in 20 minutes for meGreat service! Thanks guys for your help.

They always do an excellent job at altering clothes - eg they shortened the sleeves and zips of a leather jacket and it looks like brand new! So clever!

Staff at this shop are just so rude and grumpy. Been going there quite a few times now and without fail they are always in the same grumpy miserable moods. Such a shame because their workmanship is good. But will be going to Glenferrie Road Malvern now.
