Wow, visited this place with the Scouts Victoria caving team and it was well worth the visit, some large open caverns and tight squeezes and challenges! While these caves are “open” to the public a trained and experience guide is always a good idea when exploring caves.

This place I went to after watching it on a tv show. The canes them selves are black volcanic lava. You need to be really careful as they are razor sharp, you also need a very bright torch as the black walls of the cave seem to adsorb theLight. The wall in is interesting as you wall past the ruins of rock walls

A long drive off the riad. You can't actually get into the cave you only look from above and they were overgrown when I was there obstructing your view.

Look like not many people visiting here but it was nice place to go but the road wasn't that good at the entry. There are 2-3 caves we can see them from the top.

Nice little detour off the road between Hamilton and Warrnambool. Short walk from carpark to the caves. You can head down into Harman 1 cave via a steep rock trail but watch your footing especially on wet days.

Great for those who are physically capable of climbing down. We climbed down them all: there’s long lava tubes that go right down to the old solid lava flow, and also a heap of tight squeeze passageways if your feeling braveWatch out for large overhangs!!! What looks like solid ground can be 1m of fractured rock with a 15m drop beneath it.

There are a series of caves to explore from the edge. The one nearest the at park has a bit of an overgrown entrance but is can be scaled down. Take a torch, it gets dark quick in the cave.

Great spot that you can explore fairly easily in around an hour or so, if you are physically able a climb down into the first cave is spooky but worthwhile. They only down side is the location could do with some upkeep, signs are all faded and viewing platforms are in disrepair.
