Dr.Ambrose Chan

Dr Ambrose asked my friend to make an appointment to only fill a tooth at the right back, but then on the day, he removed her gum at the front tooth as well, without her permission, and didn't explain to her before the procedure, and charged her extra $200ish, and this item can't be claimed from her health fund at all. He's like a money oriented dentist, no matter how good his skill is, but it reduces my confidence on him. Dr Ambrose, I hope you will reflect on your way to treat your patients. Explain to your patients before any extra procedure and its cost, is the basic logic, I guess.

I have been going to Dr Chan for at least 18 years. He is wonderful.

A skilled technician, but likes money too much. You will wait and wait because of over booking. Then you will wait and wait, half upside down in the chair while he tends to another patient.

Dr Ambrose Chan has been my only dentist in my life for 34 years and he is an excellent dentist. Explains everything before he commences. He is gentle and very caring.I wouldn't go anywhere else.His receptionist Helena is professional and friendly.Great team.I now reside on the gold coast and I fly down to Sydney for my appointments which shows how good he is and I would highly recommend Dr Chan as he has been amazing especially for me because I was so scared of dentists he hummed songs to me during the procedure he just has an incredible way with nervous patients like I was.10 out of 10.Thank you Dr Chan, for all your help and support.Kerry.

The waiting was really long
