This review is specific to child restraint fitting only. I went to Rays Auto Seat to fit the child seat in my car as it was an 'Authorised Restraint Fitting Station' in my area & came up first in the list when searched in NSW government website.I seriously regret the decision to have visited this place as the person who fitted the restraint did not confidently do the job, took almost 45-50 minutes, did not fit the restraint in the middle passenger seat (although mine was a wagon type car & had enough room) per my request stating some reasons & charged me extra for some additional buckle.Overall, the experience was so bad & I think I may need to fix the restraint again at some other authorised fitting station. A sheer waste of money & time, I would not recommend this place to fit your child restraints!

I live in Newcastle NSW, I tried to purchase a van seat locally, a friend of mine suggested Rays Seats in Girraween, I booked the van in and Ray did an outstanding job, very professional, very reasonable pricing and excellent attention to detail, highly recommend the business

A bit of a gamble because I have always believed that you get what you pay for. Ray came in a lot cheaper than 2 other quotes I got and initially I was a little hesitant. Decided to go with him and glad I did. When I arrived at his workshop he showed me the seat to confirm I was happy with everything. Talked me through the work he was carrying out and what finish I was getting. I purchased the premium and it is a solid comfortable seat. Happily installed extra anchor point for me as well. He also arranged window installation and a blue slip as well at a good price. And to top it off I wasn't without a vehicle for long. All done in one day. When I picked it up he took me through how it folds up and checked I was happy with everything. Highly recommend him

Ray did an excellent job of inspecting my child seat and adjusting it so that it meets safety standards

I needed new seatbelt reels for my vintage car as mine were rusted and broken. He replaced the reel and was able to keep my original vintage buckles and latches so it still looks 1970's period correct. Turn around was only 1 day. Cheap prices, very happy with service

Ray added a crab bar and new seatbelts to my Kombi, very happy with the outcome, looks great and ray was easy to deal with
