First, I discovered I was a fan of English language. Only later did I realize that my driving force was not just the language in itself. It was something far beyond that. It was the idea that languages are central to our experience of being human, and the languages we speak profoundly shape the way we think, the way we see the world, the way we live our lives. Yes, that powerful a language is.

So I intuitively followed that path. For nine years nonstop, I worked as an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher helping students experience new realities and develop their own critical thinking through English. However fascinating this could be, it came a moment when I felt I had reached the top. Deep down I knew there was still more to discover...

And indeed! I earned a diploma in Professional Translation honing my language abilities and an English-into-Spanish certification by the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI). I started a new chapter of my life in Australia with a completely different mindset and immersed in another way of seeing the world...
