We were in Newcastle this weekend for the band championship competition. Relish was about the only place open for something to eat.The service was great, lovely friendly staff and the food was amazing. I loved the feel of the atmosphere, rustic but really suited the Cafe.I would certainly recommend Relish.Susy

Food was terrible. We only had their wraps, got them to takeaway for a picnic- they were inedible. Very dry and lacked flavour, especially the Mexican wrap. Maybe their coffee and hot food are better, but I won't be going back to find out.

Came here for a late breakfast. No tables outside as it was a nice day and a musician was playing so we took a table inside. Pretty narrow to get a baby stroller through. Not many people dining inside so we managed. Good food and coffee, we had salmon bagel and acai bowl. Staff were super friendly. Rest of the menu sounded nice but a little pricey. Would come back for another visit.

We visited on a Sunday morning for breakfast and you could clearly see they didn’t have enough staff on. We had to grab everything - including table water - ourselves. Pricing is ridiculously expensive - $16 for an average sized double bacon and egg roll - which was nice, but not worth that price. And that was the cheapest thing on the menu. No wonder folks are choosing to eat at home.On a plus staff were lovely, and the food and coffee was very nice, but would I come back or recommend? No.

Sunny central location, surrounded by trendy hotels, accommodation and live theatre. Limited parking however light rail and buses stops nearby walking distance.Good selection of delicious food, hot & cold drinks.Staff friendly helpful.

I was lucky enough to find this GEM of a place when visiting Newcastle for work. The açai bowls are INSANE and so so so tasty! I would give them 5 stars. But they charged $2 for Peanut Butter which I think is a bit steep when most other places only charge 50c or $1. The service was great though!

Prompt courteous service with an interesting menu. Eggs Benny with a spicy sauce, fried chicken pieces and coleslaw was satisfying and filling. Best black coffee in Newcastle, so far. The crema was thick and oily. Perfect. The proverbial rocking table needs to be addressed with a different base, so that outside diners, at least have a stable table. Yes there are solutions.

The Acai bowl had frozen/melting soggy fruits. Coffee was good. Last time here about 6 months the menu and staff was very different.
