Best thing we ever did was to ignore the negative reviews written about the owners of Hollyoakes. We thoroughly enjoyed our two night mini break and could not have found Helen and Bryan more welcoming, helpful and informative. Bryan even re mowed the grass to enable us to play Bocce! Helen was able to share some brilliant recommendations about where to dine in the area. The breafast was full of home made compotes and jams and the hot coffee was first class. The area itself is so tranquill and very pretty. We would definitely recommend Hollyoakes as a comfortable, clean and friendly place to stay.

Be prepared to have cash when paying for your stay. Credit card transaction appeared not to work but actually went through, so paid on 2 cards AND cash. Bryan doesn't want to know anything about it, so now waiting endlessly for the banks to get the money back!!

What a wonderful stay.Delightful residence and wonderful hosts, Bryan & Helen.They went out of there way to ensure our stay was hassle free, which enabled us to truly relax and enjoy the ambience. On finding out the local Pub had closed for meals due to Covid, Bryan suggested to get some food from the local IGA to cook up. Then much to our surprise, Bryan offered to cook it all up for us! He even did the dishes for us! We were so spoilt beyond our expectations.We enjoyed our own private spaces with no intrusions in front of fire place to keep us warm.In the morning after a sleep in a very comfortable bed, a magnificent Breakfast was supplied before we departed our stay.I highly recommend Bollyoak if you looking to stay in Trentham.Great value for moneyThank you Bryan & Helen

Truly a most delightful experience. Bryan and Helen are very special hosts and the ambience is just a joy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in such beautiful surroundings and we highly recommend Hollyoak. We shall return!
