This place is simply stunning. The views from the front porch make you want to extend your trip. Lots of green grass, ducks and three alpacas greet you. The inside is very spacious and nicely styled. There are several living areas giving plenty of space. Comfortably sleeps 12 and right next the pub and great food options. Well worth the stay.

I stayed at Rivermist for 4 days and it was just glorious. Kangaroo Valley is a gorgeous, friendly little township where good old fashioned country values just shine. Rivermist is a beautiful homestead where you can sit on the deck, soak in the sunshine while watching the beautiful alpacas on the nearby farm. There are 2 spacious lounge rooms, 6 bedrooms all with their own en-suites and a sprawling outdoor deck that just takes in the picturesque country vista. Highly recommended.

Place is nice inside, great for large groups, really close to shops at end of 50m driveway. Downsides are no access to river, no flyscreens on doors & most windows so when you leave them open for fresh air all the bugs come in. Have to sleep with bug spray on because all the mosquito's and other bugs came in during the day. Also lots of wasps nests around to watch out for them trying to get inside during the day.Besides the bugs, house was good.Website needs abit more information on what is supplied like linen, cooking utensils, board games, puzzles, etc.
