Pavilion on Northbourne Hotel
The room was lovely, very clean, the bathroom was spotless and the spa was absolutely lovely! The room service was lovely and staff were very friendly and accomodating.The main thing that was of concern was that the staff member operating the front desk when we arrived was clearly very sick and was constantly sneezing, coughing wiping and blowing her nose and wasn't cleaning or sanitising her hands at all before touching the papers, pens and room keys and she had NO MASK on at all! Very unhygienic! She coughed straight towards me while talking at one point. Makes you wonder what standard the rest of the hotel is kept to in terms of cleanliness and hygiene.Rooms were very dark and lighting was sparse which was disappointing and the appliances are very dated and don't work well at all. The phone barely worked at all!

I've stayed here many times before. The rooms and service are great for what you pay. When I'm in town working long days, all I really care about is a nice bed at the end of the night. Only thing I don't like is the small shower. It's always been clean though and friendly service, hence why I continue to come back

Pavilion on Northbourne Hotel
From booking the hotel to checking out this hotel was great, we had breakfast each morning and it was fantastic.The hotel staff were so polite and helpful.We had dinner there each night if our 4 night stay, the only meal I wouldn’t recommend was the steak sandwich.The meat was quite tough.Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Very comfortable room, great bed, the curtains are thick and very dark, great for a sleep in. (Only problem was the staff forgot to note our requested late check-out so we were woken by a phone call.)The restaurant staff were wonderful - friendly, entertaining and very helpful, even helping us with some simple breakfast out of hours. Dinner was delicious.The place was easy to find and parking is free and secure. The gardens are fabulous, and I think the admittedly dated architecture and decor is cute. :) Should be more hotels with such character.

Pavilion on Northbourne Hotel
Just needed a bed for the night and this was great. Easy to find with secured parking. Room was very clean. Bar meal was very pleasant and reasonable price. Only problem was no charging facilities for our new electric car. Had to hunt around for a charge. The future is electric and a charger is as necessary as a bed for those travelling by car.

This hotel would be the noisiest place we have stayed in. The noise from the plant room was full on as was the music from a wedding next to our room. The following night we had to contend with kids belting up and down the corridor, and to top it off the couple next door were in the throws of love making and the thumping on the bed head was resonating right behind our heads while trying to sleep.The towel rack needs screwing back to the wall and the toilet seat is about to fall off. Some hand soap in the shower would have been nice. The place is in need of a total upgrade!!However we did really love the food we had in the restaurant.

Loved the indoor plants and the customer service was generally pretty good. I probably wouldn’t get the breakfast again, I didn’t feel it was great value for money and there are some many options for a great feed closer to town. Poo ya lost on cleanliness, my bathroom had hair all over the floor from a previous tenant and goobers stuck to the tiles.

Plus - Excellent stay . Atrium Room was very neat and spacious. Breakfast was very good, healthy spread and nice variety for vegetarians too. Beautiful lounge area. Friendly staff. Close to all attractions and many restaurants . Many indian restaurants too. Ample parking space.Minus- the kettle at the room was so unclean with lot of white spots. While booking online I requested a microwave to heat milk for my baby, and again reminded them in the hotel for the same. one of the receptionist told he will get back after asking manager and never got back. Otherwise their service was good.

To park here, pull up to the gate and press the button to be let inside.Went for a girl's weekend and loved staying here. Close to tram stops but also easy to drive in and out of.The atrium of the hotel is actually stunning, lit with fire lamps at night and natural light by day. Seating is surrounded by plants and koi ponds. The restaurant and cafe were also amazing to have within the building. We would recommend the strawberry shortcake and tirimisu. So good.

Where do I start. Mould on carpet. No toaster. Terrible bed. Food (from room service) left stacked on trolleys in corridor all day and most of the night. Staff still cleaning rooms well into the afternoon. Front gate doesn't work properly. Only good thing about it was location.
