We had a Power Pole Replacement job as well as a new Meter Reader installed expertly, professionally and with great customer care.Steve was patient and worked through a period where the distributor/retailer had the Union called industrial action with no work being completed during the period. I highly recommend Steve Taylor's Electrical Services.I received a timely response to my initial enquiry regarding underground power installation (of which I knew little) at my residence in Lilydale Vic.Steve did a site visit and clearly explained the process, the costs, the scope of works required and the requirements of upgrading my switchboard. He discussed multiple options for the locations of the new switchboard and the underground services taking into consideration the aesthetics of my home and minimal disruption to my landscape. He provided a detailed quote and commenced works at an agreed time. The work was completed in the time frame given. The site was managed in a clean and professional manner with minimal disruption to me. I have had no issues with the power since that time. A very professional service delivery from an extremely knowledgeable and pleasant man. A+++

For anyone considering using this business for any electrical work, please don’t. Ensure that you go and get other quotes. Extremely expensive and overpriced!!Update: I am a legitimate customer and did contact the Owner about the excessive quote with little effect to it being reviewed. Unfortunately as it was over double any other I received for exactly the same work to be performed, this review is to warn others to be diligent in obtaining additional quotes.

Power Pole Replacement job done expertly.Our power wholesalers were having hissy fits about an unsafe pole on our property. Steve happily calmed them down and replaced the pole expertly. As a bonus he was able to replace another pole , that only had a few years left in it, at half the price as all the trucks and equipment were already on site.So, 10/10 from me.

We had a tree take out our private power pole and were without electricity to our home for some 3 three before we found Steve - it was an extremely stressful time as we were living off a generator. Steve responded promptly - attended our property to assess the situation and provide us with our options. We elected to go underground and Steve organised this - drilling through some 50 meters of rock. Steve also laised directly with our insurance company which was a huge relief. He provided an excellent service at a fraction of the cost of our other quotes, he is honest and reliable.

After loss of power and also requiring our private line to be placed underground before it was reinstated after a storm we contacted Steve. He was at our property within 15 minutes and commenced planning and gaining details to work with our insurance company. He organised all works, assistance with dealings with the insurance claim, the works were completed quickly and the gardens returned to their original state. We highly recommend Steve for his professional service, honesty and prompt service especially in an emergency.
