Though emergency department is always understaffed and relatively slow in service , once you get admitted , the service is 5 star ...We got admitted several times and we have really zero comments.Staff, doctors & nurses are all super professional, caring and helpful. The hospital itself is very clean and properly equipped.You are in safe hands here.

Friendly staff, despite misdiagnosing meningitis as concussion and sending partner home, they got it right when had to call an ambulance three days later. But since getting it right the care have been fantastic the amenities are great and they look after visitors too.

I have to give my 5 stars review as a satisfied customer experience with the best quality service in Royal Adelaide Hospital. And rooms are very clean too

Good hospital, terrible parking company.My card was Not accepted" yet they still charged me for a ticket I never received.I called the company and was redirected several times until I reached a call center; at that point

Having recently been at the RAH for open heart surgery I have very high praise for not just medical staff but for the nurses and the staff who did my meals and gave me morning teas etc plus a lovely little small talk to keep me informed on outside issues. I had such a variety for meals and some parts of them were so yummy. Not fussed on couscous etc but I bypassed what didn't taste so great. One meal stood out which was a meat patties that had fresh veggies and some type of rice that was super delicious. I would love to get some of the recipes so I can cook them at home to help me find healthier food options and new things to try. I would love to know if the rah has their recipes online for me to print out.

Hubby has had a few visits lately, coming from the country area, we found that all the staff we had contact with have been brilliant, they went above and beyond. Nursing staff you really deserve the rise in pay you fought for. Thank you to all at the RAH.

Since having the privilege to attend a tour before the hospital was officially opened to public, then having attended some conferences there for work, I’ve also experienced visiting patients, being an emergency patient then as an outpatient for appointments I have to have it is a lovely functional new hospital, much preferable to the old RAH building, airy and bright makes the sick feel better with greenery views definitely helps the mental state.Unfortunately as a patients point of view, there is definitely room for improvements. It’s corridors to find rooms for appointments are confusing and thank goodness for volunteers and helpful staff who can assist with directions. Understaffed in many areas leave the system vulnerable.Getting there- Public transport is a better option if well enough to get there by train as Car parking is horrible and expensive if you have no choice but to drive yourself there.

My mother was brought into Emergency due to a fall.From the Ambulance to the hospital it’s been fantastic.The service at the hospital has been outstanding. My mother has been placed in a room by herself public patient. The staff, nurses, doctors, cleaners are the food is great. all top notch outstanding workmanship. All know there jobs and my mother I must say is in the best hands possible.Thank you so much to everyone for looking after my mother 100 per cent.The hospital is the best in South Australia.

Recently I had eye surgery at RAH. The level of care from all staff was exceptional. Special thanks to Dr Davis and his colleague for their thorough tests prior to surgery.
