Hero Education

I have attended Hero Education for 2 years (Year 11 and 12) for Physics and Chemistry. Hero Education was extremely helpful to my studies in Physics and Chemistry as they delved deeply into the scientific concepts that were taught in HSC. The booklets that were given had detailed notes that made it very easy to understand difficult concepts that were not explained clearly at school. The tutors were phenomenal. They created an environment were learning science was enjoyable and interesting by using their passion for teaching and enthusiasm for science to accurately teach us how to answer daunting questions. Overall, Hero Education is an awesome tutoring place that is up to a extremely high standard. Not only did Hero Education increase my academic marks and overall HSC mark, they raised my confidence and provided another area for friendship and camaraderie.

Despite only have attended the Chemistry Crash Course, it's obvious that Hero Education is a well established tution option which critically addresses important syllabus dotp points whilst retaining an interactive aspect that allowed me to feel really involved.Would recommend the Crash Course to anyone.

Hero is easily the place to go for Physics. I currently go to the Parramatta Campus which is very new and Min-je is my tutor. He's fantastic as a tutor because he has a very simple yet extremely effective approach to Physics that will allow you to grasp and master new concepts very quickly. Hero is the 3rd place I've gone to for Physics. The first being Sigma, which is the in-demand tutoring centre currently, however, it unfortunately didn't live up to the hype depicted by reviews. Yes Chris is an approachable and knowledgeable tutor, however his materials aren't THAT good and the learning environment feels fairly 'stiff'. As a result I then went to ACE which I found was better than Sigma. However, downsides were that was it was a THREE hour class, with some time being unproductive. However, overall it was a more positive experience than Sigma. After this, I then decided to do a trial at Hero which would effectively decide where I go, and to this day, it was the best decision I made. Min-je and Hero is THE place to go for Physics. Their resources, teachers, learning environment (and literally everything else) is second to none. Highly recommend this tutoring centre.Also I would really like to stress how good their resources are. Unlike most tutoring centres, they provide a holistic approach to Physics - they cover syllabus dotpoints, develop your answering skills in exams, rectify any common misconceptions that you may have ... THEY DO IT ALL!

Hero Education made learning chemistry fun! The tutors there not only teach the content thoroughly but also do so in an engaging manner. Not only that, every tutor at Hero always went well above the requirements of their job- they were always willing to answer any of my last minute questions on fb and provide helpful life advice. Even after the HSC, they still remain in touch to provide helpful life/uni tips! Also, the content of their booklets was actually so helpful- all the information was relevant and targeted towards answering the syllabus dot point. A big thanks to Evan, Judy and Simon for always being there and supporting me throughout my HSC journey!

Hero is the place to be if you need to be saved from the depths of despair in Chem, Maths or Physics. The resources are invaluable, the tutors are amazing and you'll love every second of it. They really are my HSC heroes!!

Despite only going to Hero Education for year 12 chemistry and physics, I was able to gain a lot out of the experience as a student there- not only do the excellent tutors invest time into every student to ensure that complex concepts are understood, but also make the learning process hilarious and very enjoyable. The content we learn in class covers everything you need to know in a cohesive manner, which made me confident towards my studies as I had all the information I needed to do well. I recommend this to anyone who needs support during the HSC, as you will definitely receive the guidance needed to gain confidence in both social and work aspects of life. Shoutout to Evan, Minwoo and Simon for all their hard work, I wouldn't have survived the HSC without you guys! :)
