Laurent Bakery Chadstone

A French inspired Patisserie with an amazing range of beautiful cakes and pastries. Located in Chadstone shopping centre. We had coffee which was served in beautiful cups that help make the coffee taste great. The cake we chose was beautifully made and decorated and tasted wonderful. Lots of space inside and some seating outside the shop. A great place to take a break from all the shopping at Chadstone.

The baked goods at Laurent are second to none, if you enter a store and see how busy it always is, that will attest to my conclusion as well. The citron tart is my favorite without a doubt, however you can't really go wrong whichever way you choose. I haven't dined in yet, only takeaway, the customer service has always been great.The staff do the best they can, even with a smile under pressures of the long queues. Great establishment.

FOODWe ordered croissant and pan chocolate but they were almost empty. I didn’t appreciate. Nothing special.The donuts was nice.We ordered coffee and cappuccino but I don’t why I receive the coffee in a mug and cappuccino in a cup take away.LOCATIONThe location was nice but they put some staff ( a lots of tables and chairs ) on the side. It was no nice to see.SERVICEThe staff was so nice.Absolutely I don’t suggest you and sure I won’t come back here!

One of our favorite place for breakfast. They offer wide variety of pastries and good coffee. However service was slow. Had to wait for 17 minutes before we got our drinks.

Fantastic place with delicious food. Good coffee ☕️, good Eclair Au Chocolate & Eclair Au Coffee. Kind staff. I’ll definitely come back.

The cheesecake was excellent and fluffy. Not too rich and just right. The flat white was very nice and one of the best I've had.

One of my all time favourite cafes. This has been mine and my mums go to cafe for catch ups for years, absolutely never disappoints! Their sandwiches and focaccias are delicious and their cakes and pastries are next level! They offer such a great variety from rich, decadent cakes to lighter fresher options so there’s something for everyone. The mixed berry Danish is an all time favourite. We’ve visited a number of the stores throughout Melbourne and they’re all consistent and fantastic. Highly recommend any of the stores for your next catch up.

The short: used to be a good quality and reliable café, but now it is overpriced and hit-or-miss.The prices are shocking right now. Today we got 2 sandwiches and 2 coffees takeaway for $50 (public holiday surcharge). They charge more when you eat in. Without the surcharge two sandwiches and two coffees would’ve been $43. This is an expensive café.We pay for good quality, but that’s exactly the problem today. When the price is so high the expectations increase too and sadly the sandwiches were disappointing and felt like nothing special. I could not finish the lamb in Turkish bread. The sauce was a bit excessive so the flavours were imbalanced, the vegetables didn’t taste fresh due to soaking in the sauce, and the inside of the bread was soggy. Overall, the bread was the tastiest part of this meal.Salmon on rye was overly salty and extremely simple for the price that it’s sold for.They gave us no serviettes either. This could have been a slip up, or cost saving. You’d expect serviettes for $50.On the plus side, the coffees were excellent.We’d pay these prices for good quality food, but these just felt like rushed, mass-produced meals that don’t justify the price.
