rang up last weekend and ordered 1 cubic meter of lawn mix. I live 500m away and they charged me $40 + GST for delivery...its not the end of the world but seriously I live in Ashwood how do you justify that.

Just started using there service very helpful reasonably priced . And in time john Melbourne brick and blocklayers

The driver was an hour late, due to traffic, but great service all round from phone sale to delivery.

Poor quality garden mulch and even worse customer service to resolve a complaint about the excess amount of broken glass and plastic rubble in moisture mulch. It wasn't cheap either, at $64 cubic meter plus $30 delivery. SHOP around!

The customer service and delivery is prompt, however, the top soil quality is just rubbish.It becomes porridge when wet (like sinking in swamp when stepping on it) and becomes rocks when dry. I put some on the nature strip and can see from the photo how bad it is.We understand it may have some clay content , however, it doesnt have any top soil properties. It is only loose when delivered.Now we have to dispose all the 4m3 soil we ordered. What a waste of efforts of moving all of them to the back yard!

Don’t believe their delivery time estimatesThey tell you anything to get an order on the books but actual delivery time is not to be believed

I have spent lots of money at this place over the years during gardening renos. Good products but customer service has never been great. After yesterdays experience the customer service was particularly disappointing. I had to pick up and put in my car 10 x 20kgs bags of gravel on my own with no help. They never offered when i ordered even though they knew i was coming there at 4.30. They said it will be waiting at the gates for me to pick up due to covid. I have never been to a similar place or collection being dealt this way. Everywhere i go they say pop the boot and put it in there for me . Your company obviously doesn't have a lot of respect for people and it shows every time i walk in the store. Staff just look at you until you speak, no hello, nothing. Very very rude. I have shopped there for 20 years but yesterday will be the last time. This may not be a big deal to them because they just don't seem to care.

The reception wasn't great, you have to dig them to pull out info. I just took the quote, looks reasonable but yet to try their garden soil. Delivery charge is 30$ when I'm just next door to them within 3 kms. They only have one variety of garden soil for veggies, the texture looked good, not filled with wood chips and barks. Will update if I buy from there, cheers

Worst firewood load I’ve ever received. About half of it I had to split down to usable sizes and once I was doing that I found it still wet/ unseasoned so it’s really difficult and inefficient to burn. When I rang to tell them, to their credit he offered to replace large pieces for smaller sizes If I took it there, but really by the time I loaded the trailer etc etc why would I bother. He also said that if I could source red gum split down smaller than theirs it would cost $500+ per ton which is simply not true. I bought 3 tons last year at around 400 or less delivered and I’ve been using wood burners for 30 years nearly non stop so I’m not new to firewood. That said I have had good experiences at daiseys before but they really need a new Red gum supplier
