Ducked in late on a Saturday to pick up a new rod as the tip on mine had broken. Bloke there was very helpful in picking a new one, and offered to fix my broken rod for a lot cheaper than I expected. Came back a few days later with it and they sorted it out in 10 mins.Also had a good selection of local caught prawns for bait, and between that and the rod led to me catching my first Barra!

Before the solar eclipse in 2012, I and pals were staying at Lucinda beach, and wanted some other activities. We found this shop out when came to purchase foods. Though we bought the cheapest fishing rod, the owner made tackles for us.After all, including other anglers at Lucinda, there was no catch. But good memories. I still hold that rod.2012年の日食前に、仲間と一緒にルシンダに滞在中で、暇にしていました。食料の買い出し時にこの店を見付け、一番安い釣り竿を買った際、店の主人が仕掛けを作ってくれました。結局、ルシンダの他の釣り客含め釣果はなし。でもまあ、良い思い出です。今でもその竿は手元にあります。

Lockie is a real help. I now live in Nz and occasionally visit my friend in Taylor's Beach and always stop by halifax home-brew and tackle. I picked up a couple of handy fold-out chairs In the first week of January and Lockie stayed open a little longer till we got there after I told him we were on our way.Make sure you stop by halifax and go and buy something from lockie
