Valley Bakery

Ever watch those tv shows when a person walks into a cake shop and there are cakes on display? There aren't many bakeries around Sydney that make decent cakes. I searched the internet for shops that sell small cakes and the quality was terrible.. Then I discovered this place through word of mouth and I drive out of my way to go there.The cakes at Valley Bakery are light and delicious (not to be confused with Valley Cakes" which was previous business at this site and had terrible reviews under former owner).I went there last Friday and was disappointed to find out they have had a recent price rise. The iced tea cake I used to buy for $3.50 is now $4.50

Valley Bakery in Teleopa is a legendary spot with great Pork Rolls, Sweet Pastries and Coffee.The lady who runs it to totally rocks too ❤

I checked out this bakery yesterday morning on maps. There had been mixed reviews. The pie I had was delicious. It was steak and mushroomThe pastry was perfect. Best pie I've had in a long time. I will go there again.

Expensive and terrible quality bread. Also they only take cash which is inconvenience. Go elsewhere!

Bread and pastry are mediocre. This place is quite pricey for the quality I’m paying for. I bought the raisin danish (i.e. escargot or snail) for $4. I remembered last time it was only $1.80 around the Western area. With the $4, I can buy raisin danish (pain au raisin) at Bourke Street Bakery which is famous for their pastry. Also, I find that their pastry/bread have a lot of preservatives.
