How do I even start.? It didn’t seem the best when we arrived , but it only got worse. No food has seasoning , the chicken was Extremely pink. Some pieces of pasta were rock hard , most stuff weren’t even cooked properly.Activities weren’t the best. Canoeing was Filthy. Canoes had dirt , w mud , spiders , all types of insects on them , life jackets smelt unpleasant. Lake wasnt the worst , but it looked very dirty. All activities go for 1 hour. In the first 30 minutes everyone finishes and it gets boring. Most activities also look poorly made. Wood broke , and teachers are left to figure out what to do.The cabins were bad. Beds are so squeaky any tiny movement makes a loud noise and shakes the whole bed. Mattresses feel like rocks. In the cabins with ensuites the toliet seats are yellow and the shower had rust in it. Walls are paper thin , and crazy amounts of insects were flying in the Cabin. So happy to be a home , I don’t really recommend this camp. Employees can be really rude and pressuring to.

Everyone enjoyed the few thrilling activities involving harnesses such as the Giant Swing, Flying Fox, and the Leap of Faith that were run by camp staff. However, other activities involved playing quick games for long periods, causing the group to become disinterested exceedingly quickly. These activities are better suited for primary school students. Both the teachers and students were left to figure them out for themselves, and the activities appeared to be low-budget, and poorly put together. The views surrounding us were breathtaking, however, the views from the insides of the cabins were not so much. Some cabins were spacious, whilst others were not, despite accommodating a larger amount of people. The rooms in the Kookaburra Homestead had holes and cracks in the doors, and the walls were paper thin. Some of the separate outdoor bathrooms even lacked locks from the toilet doors. Our year level of just over 200 students had to dine separately, with some inside and some in the outdoor area. As we were eating outside on multiple occasions, a dog roamed below us under the tables, and the teachers were left to serve a lot of the food to students and each other rather than the other camp staff. The food was standard for a camp, although the water tasted slightly metallic, so I recommend bringing your own water bottle!Overall, it was a classic camp, but unfortunately, the experience could have been better.

came here for year 9 camp about to leave tomorrow which will be a highlight of this horrible camp experience and food poisoning food. the chicken gave me and many others salmonella. we werent even able to do half the activies and got stuck with boring ones like disc golf, low ropes, orienteering, rock climbing etc when we could have done flying fox, giant swing, leap of faith, high ropes etc. i dont reccomened this camp at all as i had full mental breakdowns all days and cried myself to sleep last night. dont come here unless you want an awful experience

This was possibly the worst camp I've ever been to. How do I even start? First of all, the showers are shared, and they were gross. All of them smelled like chlorine 24/7 and there was always brown stuff in the stalls. The food was also so bad- on the fist night, the chocolate mousse was just whipped chocolate yoghurt! On the second day, the ham in the baked potato was literally uncooked. The cabins were tiny, with so much people in such a small space. The bunks were squeezed into every corner possible, making it really cramped. Also, if you sleep on the top bunk, the slightest movement on your part can literally shake the entire bunk. And the bottom bunk is so low, you bump your head when you get up! The instructors were also really rude and impatient. I hated every bit, this was the worst camp ever!

I'm a teacher and recently attended a Year 7 Camp at Alexandra Adventure Resort. The students had an awesome time due to the great activities, delicious food and friendly staff. This was all despite the endless rain which could have easily dampened the students mood. Thanks for a fun few days!

An amazing experience for our 3/4 students. Could not have asked for a camp to be run any better. We had delicious food, a well organised schedule and the activities were very enjoyable. Super friendly staff that were so accomodating, nothing was too hard. Highly recommend!

This camp is so bad. I do not recommend it. First of all there was mould all over the walls in one of the lodge's (the one near the archery field), and apparently the cabins were new. The walls were paper thin and we could hear the other peoples convos. The food was terrible, it wasn’t cooked properly and they did not feed us enough. The chicken snitchzel had no crunch (some were pink/ undercooked), the brownies were raw and melted and the rest of the food was so bad. I only liked the rolls on the last day. They made us take our shoes off in every room which in my opinion is very unhygienic because if warts. There is not enough showers and the showers only have one hook to hold everything. The activities were very boring and they went for an hour so we had finished everything in the first half hour and didn’t know what else to do. The activities were more for younger kids aswell, the only good ones were high ropes, giant swing and canoeing. The workers did nothing. They only had to work for 3 hours on the first day and 5 hours on the second day. The poor teachers had to also run activities while serving food and then supervising during the day and night. There is not enough to do with free time here aswell, half the time I just wanted to hang out with friends in the other cabin but it was camp rules not to go into other peoples cabins. It is wasp and moth infested. And the moths were MASSIVE. One of the only good things is the scenery. If u sadly have to attend this camp, go to the back of the archery field and there are some good views, good service and u can see cows.
