McCartney Family Funerals was recommended to me by a family member, and here I find myself doing the same for others. Suzie was breathe of humanity amongst a difficult time, guiding us through to a glorious tribute for my father. Not only did she partner with us to think creatively and authentically, her leadership gave us the confidence to know it would all come together marvellously. Which is did, and we are so very grateful.

My Husband Craig, died very unexpectedly on the 15th of September 2022. I could hardly breathe let alone think.Thank goodness I did a google search and McCartney Family Funerals Beenleigh popped up. The following day the family and I met with the beautiful Suzie at our home. All the organisation was made with the utmost care and I would actually say love. Suzie managed to take my husband into the care of the funeral home almost immediately even though it was out of hours (Craig was still at the Gold Coast Hospital). We had a few out of the ordinary things for Craig, number one I wanted it to be a Celebration of Love for his service (which it was).We were so truly blessed to have Suzie not just as our Funeral Director but as our celebrant. It was an honor for myself my family and friends to have Craig’s journey and service handled with so much care and compassion. Our dear Dad passed away in November last year, and through the palliative care team, my brother and I contacted McCartney Family Funerals.We chose McCartney Family Funerals, because they are a family owned and operated, and we couldn't have been more pleased with our choice.My first phone call was answered by Lea-anne, whom instantly was absolutely the most caring, compassionate and honest person, who took the time to listen to me, and answer all of my questions (as I have never had to make these arrangements before).Lea-anne talked me through our options and emailed me information to read through in my own time. All emails and phone calls were answered by McCartneys.Jo arrived to take Dad, and she showed the utmost respect for Dad, and my brother and I. Another wonderful person.As we were from Victoria, Lea-anne understood the importance to us of returning Dad home.Lea-anne arranged for Dad to come home, and we are so thankful for this.

So happy to have been referred to Suzie from McCartney Family Funerals. Very sadly, we lost my brother by his own choosing. Upon our firt meeting Suzie was kind and compassionate. As she was leaving my home after the first vist, she noticed my Rosemary bush and she spoke about it being the herb of rememberence and as my brother did not really like flowers all that much Suzie gave us the idea of placing Rosemary as a tribute. It turned out to be a very special moment for many people at his service. Thank you for that Suzie. Suzie not only helped us navigate this tragic and devestating situation, she did it with Grace. There was a lot of dysfunction to contend with and Suzie somehow worked magic and managed to put together an absolutely beautiful ceremony - she was all inclisive, she read the room very well, she captured my brother in her reading perfectly - you could really tell she had listened to us all, she ensured all our needs were met and that my brother got to have a very loving send off. Our experience with McCartney Funerals was an exceptional one. From first ringing & talking to Bryan, to then having Jo look after us was a calming, relaxing experience. Jo was amazing, she took the time to explain everything, answer our questions, no matter how strange they may have been. She was very good & caring and made us feel at ease with our grief. Thanks also to Imogen who returned Brian to us. I would proudly recommend them to anyone.

Suzie Philp’s from McCartney Family Funerals was absolutely amazing. From start to finish, she was gracious, kind and caring during a very sad time in our lives and guided us in every detail.

Suzie Philp not only took the Service for my late husband, but also attended to all aspects necessary from the point of his passing to bringing his ashes home to us. McCartney Family Funerals Beenleigh were beyond helpful, caring and compassionate. From the moment we contacted them, they provided us with all the information we needed and guided our family to saying goodbye to my father.Jane helped with a lot of the administration and ensured my father was well dignified, groomed and looked after before his cremation.Jenny was our celebrant for my fathers funeral service, not only was she professional but she was also compassionate, warm and friendly. Both Jane and Jenny created a meaningful and memorable service, and we are all so grateful for their help so my family and my fathers closest friends could all say goodbye to such a wonderful man.

In such horrible times McCartney Family Funerals really helped us. After loosing our son, my fiance and I where so scared to plan his funeral. Imogen from McCartney Family Funerals was absolutely amazing. She was so patient with us and was so easy to talk to. She allowed us time to talk about our son and discuss what we wanted for his send off. She made us feel so at ease about what we wanted to do and the way she spoke about Oliver and kept us updated with what was happening once they had received him made us feel so comforted as you could see how much she cared about him and we never felt like 'Just another family '.The day was as beautiful as a funeral could be and Imogen and the team where so supportive from the planning process, to viewing our baby, she was so supportive on the day and continues to check up on us!Even post funeral when we were having some issues with ordering our sons plaque she guided us through that !We could not recommend McCartney funerals enough!! In such a horrible time of our lives, we feel so blessed to have crossed paths with these amazing people!We can never thank them enough!
