Tesla Destination Charger
Again agreed but Hyrdo Magestic say the Tesla charger is for guest only. So it shouldn’t be shows as a Tesla charge point.The server in the cafe said I had to either book accomodation or a costly high tea, you could purchase anything from the cafe where the charger is located.it was an emergency and I offered to buy food and drinks in the cafe but was turned away… had to charge at a friend of a friend’s parents house.Exceptions should be made for emergencies, lack of human decency - will never go there again.

Tesla Destination Charger
Nope. Don't bother coming here. These chargers should not be listed as Tesla destination chargers as the hotel has made them PRIVATE chargers. Only hotel guests are allowed to use them, and need to request a code from the front desk to unlock them. I'd planned to have lunch here with my daughter while my car charged, but when I saw the hotel had privatised the chargers I decided not to give the hotel my $ after all. (Why does Tesla still list these private chargers??). Photo attached! We went to Lithgow to charge instead - highly recommend the free NRMA fast chargers!!

Tesla Destination Charger
Stopped there for lunch at the boiler house for a meal and a charge but found both the Tesla destination charger and the Audi charger ICEd. Asked in the coffee shop if they knew who owned the BMW rego number CVW91X, they said the boss, chargers only for people staying over night. Skipped the lunch there and continued on to Lithgow where we had a great lunch at the Lithgow Workies Club while the car charged at one of the 50KW NRMA chargers. Thanks NRMA great job.

Tesla Destination Charger
These are private - for Hydro guests only. Agree with the other review - they shouldn’t be listed as charging options! Go to Scenic Railway in Katoomba or Lithgow Workies instead. Shame because I was going to buy something at the Hydro shop while charging - ah well! On the upside - maybe it shows how increasingly common EVs are. The hotel needs them for guests. Something to celebrate. But… Bring on more charging infrastructure!

Tesla Destination Charger
Both of the EV chargers at the Hydro Majestic have been permanently disabled according to staff in the Coffee shop to prevent passing EV drivers from obtaining free charging.
