As a local this is one of our faves. From coffee in the morning, drinks & nibbles in the Sunset Bar to some delicious dining downstairs.An awesome location with magic, ever changing views & a friendly team.

Shout out to the waitress for excellent service. Didn't get her name but she was great. The lamb gnocchi was a perfect dish for me. Thank you for a great dine in experience

The Boathouse has a lovely atmosphere. We had a table looking across the river.The staff were lovely and friendly.We ordered the Feast -4 course share meal. The food was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful, the wait between each course was well timed. It was a lovely way to celebrate my birthday.Check out the website for more info.

Super enjoyable lunch on the river. The upstairs bar is modern and offers great views. 300g of Mooloolaba prawns was to die for - super fresh and giant prawns. The charcuterie board starter was also delicious but could’ve offered more variety in terms of paste / Patè to accompany the meats / olives - perhaps something sweet like a chutney to balance salty flavours. The Nduja was delicious nonetheless. My partner opted for the Barramundi with papaya salad and enjoyed it.The cocktails were also decent, though the Bloody Mary garnishing was a little OTT. It had practically a second charcuterie board on the cocktail stick and looked ever so slightly childish (see photos).Overall though we enjoyed the lunch and have plans to return for the 2 person seafood lunch which I think is around 180$. Seems like a bargain as our bill was much higher than that anyway with just two mains.

The Boathouse sits out on the river with lovely views. Service is quick and friendly. We chose the set lunch menu 2 courses and glass of wine for $46 - great value. I started with Bresaola with figs and cheese - delicious combination. Then the Barramundi, chips and salad, beautifully cooked and the salad was crisp and fresh, all washed down with a tasty chilled Sangiovese. My partner had the beef cheek and mash, that was a little undercooked for her, but she enjoyed it. She also had the lemon curd with a crunchy crumb - delicious. Excellent location, good food and value. Recommended for a pleasant lunch. Cost $92 for two.

We only had the takeaway fish and chips on the grassed area, while watching live music put on by the boathouse, however found the food fresh and extremely tasty and they pumped out the orders so quickly considering the number of people. The vibe was awesome, so many people and families sitting by the river on a warm evening listening to live music and chatting to friends while the kids ran around. It was awesome and I would highly recommend it to anyone but especially those with kids. Grab a few friends and set yourself up there for the evening.Would love to head back one day and try the dine in option!

Waiter was extremely nice and helpful. The beef cheek and the barramundi was good however the steak was over cooked and the swordfish was raw. We told them and they remade both dishes perfectly. The crab salad and chicken salad was great. We requested a table in the corner due to having a disabled person with us and the requests were met.

WOW. service was really good and the lady looking after us with the Dutch accent was really cheerful and helpful throughout the night. For was absolutely amazing. We chose the chefs 4 course special and the flavours on all dishes were both well presented and busting with flavour. It was very fresh and cooked to perfection. My 10 year old who barely eats anything requested a second serving of calamari that's how good it was. Cocktails were professionally made and so refreshing. Thank you for an absolutely wonderful night.

✅ Accredited Google ReviewEver tried fish and chips ? Well…This place has got it all going on and got it going on really good !No joke, I wasn’t disappointed one bit. Even to the amount of chicken salt on my chippies was spot on! The fish was delicious and the chips freshly made which is always nice. The sunsets (in my photos) are amazing and every Friday night there is live music at the front.I was visiting and I will be sure to always go back and enjoy myself at the boathouse whenever I can in QLD.Great job crew!
