Excel Dog Training & Boarding Kennels

Excel Dog training are amazing, we highly recommend and we won’t use anyone else. We have used their services for live in training for one of our dogs as well as kennel boarding for both of our dogs when we go away on holiday. We know our animals are well looked after which gives you peace of mind.Great facilities which are immaculate and the service by staff is excellent, always willing to help.

I completed my personal training for both my dogs with one of their trainers on the weekends. Very satisfied with techniques and methods for building foundation. I have tried two other trainers in group classes prior to this team. By far this was the most helpful so far..

We left our two Boxers there for 3 weeks for obedience and work on reactive training,Paul and his team completely changed our dogs in a good way, our boy went in pulling on the lead and loosing his head as soon as he saw another dog..Now he walks right beside me and is only focused on me when another dog walks by. They teach a very sustainable and easy training method that can only continue to improve your dog.Very thankful for what they have done with our dogs.Highly recommend

Our experience with Excel has been exceptional and Kylie and Paul have been extremely accommodating. Our pooch is always on her best behaviour whenever she returns home. Their amazing service has had us returning again and again the past few years.

Kylie and Paul did a tremendous job for our two girls Millie and Lola (staffie crosses) mid last year. In preparation for the arrival of our son in February we sent them to stay on site as part of a two week intensive training program. Our girl Lola was especially reactive with other dogs and overly “enthusiastic” in general despite numerous attempts at training with other organizations. We got updated during their stay and on pick up day we were given an hour or so demonstration and training session to show what they learned. When first Lola then Millie were brought out and worked with around other dogs they had never met our jaws dropped and we couldn’t believe they were the same dogs. The techniques and tips we were provided made sense and easy to follow. As the pregnancy progressed we got more and more confident that they would be able to cope with the changes to our household when the time came. We weren’t able to practice the walking as much before I got too big (My husband had to go alone which made it too hard to do properly) but we’ve really noticed a huge difference in their manners and behavior. Boundaries have been easier to set and Millie especially has benefited from a better understanding of the word “no”. So much so that when our son Alex arrived on the 9th we were able to settle into an almost normal pattern with them within a few days. They were really interested at first in the noisy pink thing who arrived out of nowhere but after a few days his cries got only occasional looks. Our neighbor and parents looked after them while we were in hospital and have commented on how vast a difference there is. We would definitely not been able to achieve this without you guys. Best in the business! No BS tells you how it is and Paul’s training methods are tried and tested with 3 of my dogs a working line German shepherd, and 2 cane corsos they all board and have completed in house 2 weeks training.
