The Brook Early Education and Care - Gordon Park
We started our boy here last year in June, he had 4 months - and we noticed a change in his 'playing' with other kids (outside of kindy.) He would scream for long lengths of time, and not the typical amount for a 3 year old. We took him to a specialist, who suggested the kindy may have produced a change, considering that was the only thing we changed at the time. I spoke to a few other parents at the kindy, who also felt that their children seemed to scream and a yell a bit more. Further to our investigations, there seemed to be more high pitch yelling at The Brook, then what would be expected at these places.

By far the worst centre I have sent my children since attending day care. The director does not understand children. Staff are rude and incompetent. The only exception to this are the kindy staff who tried to help but the director overruled them. If your child is not perfect then this is not the place for them. The director will not listen but loves to argue this review has taken me 18months to write as she left me so traumatised from her abuse I haven’t felt capable. I really hope this helps other parents and children not to suffer at the directors expense like we did.

My son had a wonderful time at the Brook. The teachers were all wonderful and caring people. The concern with this centre is that no staff remain beyond 1-2 years. The management state that this is due solely to the industry turnover rate. However, other centres still remain with staff who stay 4+years, also many of the leaving Brook staff move to alternative centres. The owner approved provider" stated that he runs a business and does not have time for complaints. My son saw 150% staff turnover in his room in 6months. This is a private daycare that cares about profit not building a community."

The Brook Early Education and Care - Gordon Park
We've been a Brook family for over 5 years with both our children starting as babies and youngest still attends. We've only ever had a positive experience with very caring and experienced staff. Many educators have been there since we started in 2018 and it is lovely to be part of the Brook community. I was shocked to read some of the other reviews, certainly does not reflect the overwhelming majority and it's a shame people in general are more likely to talk about a negative experience than a positive one.

The Brook Early Education and Care - Gordon Park
We had an amazing experience at The Brook! My son started in the baby rooms and graduated Kindy last year. He made many beautiful connections and friendships with staff and kids at the centre and many of the beautiful ladies that had looked after him during this journey were still there when we left. Our last days were actually very emotional saying goodbye. They always work so hard to make every event so special and exciting for the kids and have wonderful facilities and resources. Much love to everyone at the Brook!

The most wonderful centre - so beautifully presented with amazing toys and extra curricula activities. I love sending my son here, he has the most lovely, kind, caring carers - I could not be happier with The Brook. Highly recommend

The centre was once a supportive place to work and provided excellent education for children. Management now view families as “clients” and best practice for the children is no longer a priority. It may look good but under the surface it’s just a money grab.

Beautifully presented centre. Experienced staff who will keep your children engaged in meangful activities throughout the day. Daily menu provides nutritious meals for the children morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.

We loved the Brook! Wonderful staff with minimum staff turnover - having consistent staff was really important for us. A modern centre with a fab outdoor play area. The big slide inside is a favourite for kids and grown ups. We loved being a part of The Brook community for two and a half years and we miss our Kindy days. I visited seven other centres when we first looked for daycare and I'm so very glad we went to check out The Brook, it was definitely the best fit for our family. Highly recommend.

This is by far the best center I've had the pleasure of working at. With such high standards and quality staff and an amazing management team. Couldn't recommend The Brook enough. Its definitely a place where the educators love the children and strive to be the best they can be!
