SDN Woolloomooloo - Children's Education & Care Centre

My three year old tornado has thrived at SDN Woolloomoolloo. She’s quite sensitive and sensory and the staff all know what activities are her favourite. My daughter has made wonderful connections with staff and other children in the centre and she wakes me up every morning asking if she’s going to school today!Thanks team, keep up the good work.

Our daughter has been attending SDN Woolloomooloo for 7 months. We love the educators who are all warm, gentle and understanding. They engage the babies and toddlers in practical and creative activities for their age. There is always time scheduled for outdoor playtime as well (except if rain does not permit this). We have seen our daughter grow and develop. Importantly, she is happy to be at daycare and is excited when she sees the educators and her peers. There is an easy to use app (Storypark) where a story of the activities of that day are posted.The centre has a homely feel and is efficiently run by the centre director Christina who is approachable and quickly responds to questions and queries.

My family has been a part of the SDN Woolloomooloo family over several generations, so it was without hesitation that I placed my son in their care.We were pleased to see that the quality of staff and ethos have not changed since I attended myself many years ago - which is to say they focus on the development and well being of each individual child.The staff are so warm and interested in the children, the facilities are wonderful, and my child comes home happy and fulfilled when he attends. I’m looking forward to my daughter attending too, later in the year.For this all to have occurred during a global pandemic is even more impressive! Thanks SDN.

I loved this place and so did my child. Staffs in this centre are nice and caring. Christina (Director) really cares about the children, she works on floor every single day with children so she does know each and every details and needs of every single child. Centre always focus on child wellbeing, work with parents collaboratively. Great room set up, nice and clean environment, challenging physical activities. Awesome natural top garden where children can explore nature freely. Healthy and delicious foods with lot of varieties.

Our daughter attended SDN Woolloomooloo from around 9 months old until this month, when we moved interstate. The team is fantastic and we leave knowing our daughter had the absolute best start in life thanks to their care. The time and energy they put in to their monthly educational programs is incredible. The infants learn so much and have so much fun every day. Thank you, team, for providing such a great environment for our daughter to grow and learn.

SDN Woolloomooloo has been almost part of our family since we enrolled our baby at 10months old. She has bonded with many of the educators so well that every transition has been a breeze. Christina runs a wonderful centre for this community and we couldn’t have asked for a better daycare. Thank you team for your amazing work!

My kid has been at SDN Woolloomooloo for a couple of years now and has completely flourished under the attentive care of the educators and the personalised development programs in place.I've always appreciated the practical, communicative approach the centre director has taken in making families feel comfortable and informed, particularly throughout the pandemic.The facilities, outdoor areas, and food options are all great, but it's the staff who really make a difference here. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this centre.
