The Cave Inn
This is a fabulous dive bar with some reasonable beer, and more than half decent pizza. The wine is diabolical, just don't come here for wine, and apologise to your friends if they order some, actually so then if they try. I wish they got some better wine, it wouldn't cost much more to do so. As a music venue is great. You get up close and personal to the band, and can even have a chat to then between songs if they're so inclined. They have trivia here some night of the week, have to give that a go one night.

We happened to pop in for a beer on open mic stand up comedy night. There weren't many in the audience and much of the comedy was work in progress but we were made to feel very welcome and the beer was great.This is a quirky friendly place worth visit. Bonus they have pinball.

Wonderful live music venue in the Gabba here in Brisbane. Independent record and vintage clothing store as well. All you need for an excellent night or afternoon and very close to regular public transport if you're feeling indulgent and not wanting to drive. A good place to visit frequently for a lot of fun, great music, records and clothes.

Cosy suburban bar with great music from local bands. Pizzas are good value. Plenty of craft beers available. Open mic night on a Sunday always brings out some amazing talented individuals and there is usually a local band which play for about an hour.

My partner, her son and I went there to have a few drinks and eat a quality hand made pizza. We like this place because it has a nice atmosphere and doesn't have any pokies.

Music and other stuff at night. Close Enough to country every Sunday from 4.30 is free. Friday and Saturday bands usually $10 or so entry. Small intimate venue.

A bar set up inside a small factory space. A bit of a woke young hipster vibe the night i went in but they also occassionally put rock bands on so ill go back and see what its like on those occassions. Would suit laid back quirky folk. Not a yobbo in sight. Pleasant limited outdoor seating. The place is open alone on a quiet street so its a bit of an oasis. (Went back and it was old school aussie jangly post punk pop and it was GREAT!!) Ok...tried the pizza now and it's fantastic. I'm giving this place 5 stars for everything. The live music is mostly hit and sometimes miss but its always locals giving it a shot. It reminds me of living in inner Sydney in the punky 90's so i feel at home.
