Wellington Village Fish 'N' Chips
Quite possibly the worst food I've eaten for some time. At 6.30pm you'd expect the oil to be reasonably clean. Going by what we were served I'd say the oil hadn't been changed for a month. The fish was like a rubber thong & $36 for two ! Never again.

The worst fish and chips ever. We ordered snapper and chips for two. The chips were not crispy but limp and soggy. The so called snapper were paper thin and have never seen this before. Cannot recommend. $36 wasted.

Wellington Village Fish 'N' Chips
Best fish and chips in the world, I would even die to have one of those chips, the food is amazing, just like customer service I received. I recommend the spring rolls and the banana fritter, it was an unforgettable experience. Price is super cheap for high quality food. Did I mention the spring rolls, I eat the spring roll everyday,but they aren't as good as these one in store.

Almost inedible. Chips were bright yellow and no favour at all. Fish was soggy. Terrible . Won’t be ordering again.

The shop was in decent shape and had some nice decorations inside! The food was pleasantly well cooked and salted perfectly. The price is quite reasonable and portions were satisfying.

Wellington Village Fish 'N' Chips
We used to go here when the old owner's had the place. They were friendly and the food wasn't too bad. After they switch owners it went downhill. We got some fish and chips with crab sticks and when we got home it was so soggy (we live very close buy). The fish was also so greasy and tasted very very fishy which means it was not fresh or they did not process the fish properly or use a low quality fish. It was all very greasy and while deep fried food is oily this was on a whole different level.

Wellington Village Fish 'N' Chips
Upon entering the premises I was transported back to my childhood. This is a classic chip shop. Unfortunately, this nostalgia is only superficial. There were many items on the menu boards that were unavailable. There is no gravy made on the premises, and no chicken salt available, big sad. The chips were fried reasonably well, but not good enough to make up for the lack of items that make a hot chippy dinner excellent.

Wellington Village Fish 'N' Chips
Wasn't expecting much after reading reviews but fish was fresh and tasty (snapper) and chips were perfect. Also a huge portion, one person $19.75 - free little portion of tartare sauce too!
