First time here after recommendations from my daughter and son in law.The food was great and good value.I was wowed by the linguini prawns and mussels, one of the best I’ve tasted, the scallops in the shell were to die for, we ordered 2 lots They were so good, my husband ordered the bouillabaisse and he said it was so tasty.Will definitely come back again, I can’t believe there is such a great eating place in Mortdale. So happy, this will be my now go to eatery.

We dined here last night 2/6 same time as DT. The food and service was ABSOLUTELY fantastic. The service of the staff including the owner was exceptional, our food was delicious and was value for money. Loved spending my hard earned money at the Firehouse Grill, it’s also important to ensure that if another diner wants to mention me in a review the detail is accurate and justified which in this instance it was NOT.

We were recommended by our friends to this place and it was better than expected. Food and service are great. We had to wait about 20 mins for our food to come but it was definitely worth the wait. We had the prawns & mussels hotpot, fish, linguine, ribs and steaks. We would recommend the Barramundi and the steaks. The prawns and mussels hot pot was smaller than expected but it taste good. Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely come back again.

This is just an honest review, the service was so slow! We booked in the table and when we got seated, they didn’t serve us until I called out to them.The food took over an hour to arrive, we had to follow up on our food!I ordered the steak, but it was super dry like a beef jerky, so tough to eat!Not a pleasant experience, they didn’t deliver great customer service & they were not attentive at all.The customers were drunk, and we got harassed by this man outside the restaurant.The crowd was horrible, one stage we heard this man swearing really loudly, made us feel so uncomfortable.I won’t return again.

Came here on a Friday evening for dinner. Got here at 5:30pm. Had a booking and advised them that we required wheelchair access, which they were, and kindly accommodated us. We ordered the chilli prawn and mussel hotpot as a share entree, seafood paella, and rib eye with an extra bowl of chips for mains. All were delicious, cooked perfectly. We were too full to order dessert, but we were so keen on getting the mango brulee. We will have to come back to try it! Also, they do not serve alcohol which I support! (But they do offer BYO)

Nice and clean venue.Recommended and will be back!The staff is very accommodating (Vivianne - hope I am spelling correctly - was absolutely lovely and always with a smile).The 400gr steak was cooked to perfection and the portions of all meals were really generous.Note:Only downside IMO is the payment surcharge extends to cash payments too (not just card payments).Place is BYO and there is a bottle shop 5 mins walk.

The quality of food you receive for the price you are paying is outstanding. I have become a regular at this place and have started introducing my family and friends and all they have had to say is how tasty and nice every single dish has been. No matter what you order it is cooked to perfection.
