Steve been very helpful and know what he is doing. My guitar has a chipped nut. Taken care by Steve, in and out in few days. It is now good to go again. Setup is perfect!

I take all my acoustic and electric guitars to Steve at Starr’s Guitars for set ups, re-strings and adjustments and I always get them back sounding like brand new. Steve is a real muso who knows guitars inside out and a good bloke to boot which makes the whole experience top notch. Couldn’t recommend him more highly.

I had a lovely experience dealing with Steve today to get a new electric accostic for my daughter - he was accommodating and helpful in guiding a young girl to find the right guitar and listened to her while recommending the right choice for her. The guitar had been adjusted by a skilled luthier who had check the action which I find was just right - for those who need someone who understands the importance of right action setting for the guitar - Steve is the person and comes highly recommended from my side. Had a lovely chat with him about his guitar collections and Steve's stock of guitars for these price ranges are highly recommended for beginner and intermediate players.

Hi people - was sold a guitar that sounded 'off' when I tried to play it... As a novice, I assumed it was my lack of playing ability... I took it to a reputable music store and was told it was was warped unfortunately and would cost more to fix than what it was worth ($250) - (they showed me the issue and I could then see it too once knowing what to look for). I Asked stars guitars if they would take a look to replace for me as was just purchaced - and was told there would be a cost (standard repair fee). If they had offered to replace considering it was purchased that way, I would have given a rave review for their customer service, unfortunately, it seems they like to simply make a sale and then you don't exist. Do not recommend at this stage... Buyer beware, only purchase if you know what to look for. Feel like I was taken advantage of because I was honest about not knowing anything about guitars at the time. Thanks.

Steve was very helpful and kind in finding the right guitar gear for me. He really tried to make sure that my demands were met - and at very reasonable prices. It would definitely have been much harder buying everything and setting my first guitar without guidance! Would definitely do business with him again!
