TL;DR;Bought 2kg beef curry pieces, more than 1.2 kg of it was simply bones.Detail:This review is not based on a single day or single item, it is a common experience with the shop.The quality and service regarding beef is very poor. I do not prefer boneless beef as its taste is not so good. Bone-in beef is much better — as the bone heats the marrow, its juices penetrate the bone and immerse into meat and gravy. The result is nice, tasty, and juicy pieces of meat. That is the reason I buy beef curry pieces, which contain bones.But, the amount of bones in the curry pieces is unacceptable. I understand and expect some bones, but they put a significant amount of bones, which makes the batch unbalanced in flavor, also with that much bone, price wise it does not remain value for money anymore.For example, today we bought 2kg beef curry pieces. Unfortunately, more than 60% of it is pure bones. I have added photos with the review. Among 2kg, we got 1.2kg pure bones and some more than 800 grams of beef (which also includes some smaller bones, that is fine)Now, I have been very much fair with the rating. I have given 3 out of 5. I am including the reasoning to make sure the rating is based on overall service and quality, not just one item.We mainly buy meat and seldom fish (as we prefer local fish) and some other grocery items. So, I have divided the 5 stars among: Beef: 2, Goat and Chicken: 2, Fish and other groceries: 1.My ratings are: Beef: 0 out of 2, Goad and Chicken: 2 out of 2, Fish and other groceries: 1 out of 1. Total: 3 out of 5.As you can see, I have rated them 100% for everything other than beef. Last month, we bought a Chandpur Hilsha and it was top class, so can’t fault their other products and services.You may be wondering, why beef alone is allocated 2 stars out of 5 (40%). That is actually my personal preference, the quality of beef is very much important to us. We are from Chittagong, Bangladesh where the rate of cardiac diseases and the rate of death due to cardiac diseases is very high in comparison to other parts of the country. That is because of our love and affair with beef from birth to death. So, the quality of beef is a top priority for us. I myself cook a lot, a bad batch of meat puts me off very much.

Great quality meat and fish. Delivery service was very good too. I am a very happy customer.

Asked one staff could you please pack I need to leave early, staff even did not look at me or say something so that I can wait.Later, I asked another staff could you please pack, this are package material, no meat to cut, so I need not wait. Staff moved on to attend another customer, who just came, may be regular one.Keep waiting while requesting a third staff, a little bit healthy, he also did not responded.When I shouted I should leave now, may be the owner who was walking around started packing. Worst and painful service.

I have been doubting the weight of a whole chicken after cutting it. This week I had three whole chickens with the skin weighing 3 kg 600 grams And then after they make it curry piece I got 3 kg 100 grams . After buying whole chickens and letting them cut, they start manipulating the weight.the shop owner should look after it.

I am a regular customer buying fishes and sweets from the store. But for the first time I bought goat meat and absolutely loved it. They started home delivery service due to covid situation; this is highly appreciable. I have requested home delivery for some items including this goat mate and just enjoyed cooking the meat. The best goat mate I have had in Melbourne. I slow cooked it without a pressure cooker and it was so soft and easy to manage. I'm permanently changing my meat shop to western halal Footscray and going to invite more friends to have this amazing gold meat. thank you.

We have bought baby goat front leg , liver and chicken from here . I don't eat the chicken or liver till now but the Goat meat is awesome, very good quality and tender meat. Definitely I'll buy mutton from here only and next time will buy fish also.

Fresh meat & great customer service.

Terrible customer service and terrible meat quality. I purchased meat recently and they gave me rotten meat that i had to throw it out. On top of that, while i was purchasing, the person who was serving me had a very rude attitude and was speaking a different language to the other staff members and i could tell he was making fun of me because he was grinning at me as well because i was enquiring about the meat. So disrespectful. Please train your employees properly.
