We stayed with three other families with children and it was amazing. The location feels remote but if you need a shop, there's one not too far away. Our kids (3 and 5) loved that everything was heated by fires and the bigger kids loved the bush walks. The barn was a wonderful place to share all of our meals and has everything you might need to prepare food for 20 people. The bush walk down to the valley floor was a really nice way to spend a few hours and all of the kids managed it. The horses were a welcome surprise for them too. Easy to find, the hosts were lovely and on hand if we needed anything. We will be back!

We won accomodation here lastyear and i would 100% return. Beautiful location, right in the middle of the bush. We stayed in a great and homely cottage, my older kids loved the loft! Would be amazing in winter, hope to return!

Great place to stay! Beautiful location with extremely friendly staff working there. My friends and I felt very welcome and noticed the cabin was spotless. Would recommend to anyone, and I’m definitely planning on heading back soon. The only thing that was a little bit difficult was finding the reception and driving down the dirt track to get to the cabin but other than that, loved every minute!

Lee welcomed us in a friendly and warm way since the very beginning we arrived. The cabins are well prepared and have all what you need during a weekend. Views wise, the area is astonishing: river, mountains, bonfire and wild nature. The smile on our faces could tell we had an amazing time and, for sure, we will be back. Thanks Lee!

Perfect for a rustic getaway. Beautiful property, lovely walk to the creek where you can canoe. A great way to detox from city life.

Unfortunately we didn't have a good experience with them. We booked 3 nights and I stayed only 1. I went to the place very excited with my family because we love the adventure, camping, bush walking etc. It was not our first experience, but it was the worst, especially with the cabin. We arrived 5pm and we left 12pm next day and we couldn't sleep all night because inside the cabin we found spider webs around the kitchen, bathtub, shower, chairs and in the room. We spent the whole night killIng cockroaches (the flying ones), wasps, a lot of spiders and one Huntsman 10cm size, mosquitoes and all the flying insects that you can imagine. Of course after the hour that I could sleep I woke up with a lot of bites in my body, same in my kids. The lady owner was very gentle and nice but I suggest that she checks the cabin very well before receiving guests and also fumigate the place at least 2 times per year because the insecticide bottle is not enough. Also, if you are going, don't forget to bring drinkable water because the water is not clear.

I'll give the hosts 2/2 for being gracious and helpful. The cottage had a small fireplace which wasn't enough to warm the entire place unless you started the fire early on in the day. Not something we wanted to do as we came to explore the area. The warmth didn't reach the loft area. We bought a bag of firewood because some of the wood supplied was wet. There were cobwebs and a rat that hid in the kitchen on the last night. Everything inside was old and in tatters. They need to upgrade so that it is presentable and the accommodation is not a health hazard. There is no microwave, paper towels, bed warmer, or toaster. They need to inform about not providing these items. The owners might be happy not using them but these are basic amenities in today's time. The map in the folder was old and unclear. Another reviewer commented about leaving after first night and I understand why they felt that way.The trail markings had fallen off (bound to happen). So, we tied them back. Would be good if the trail was cleared slightly to remove fallen trees which made it tough to walk around. The management should provide inclusive options and remove rusty equipment like BBQ/chairs etc. I would explore other properties in the area. If you choose this one, visit Thai Bann for authentic food.

Our family have been a regular visitor for many years now. This idyllic location tucked away in the Blue Mountains faces towards the National Park. There are numerous bush trails to walk of a day and log fires of a night. A great place to relax and getaway to the serenity of the Aussie bush. Cabins are spacious with their own bathroom and shower and a corner wood fired heater and couch.

We went with friends and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Nice remote location not too far from Sydney, great bush trails and exploring, big camp fires and communal kitchen.

Serene location but not if you take your teenagersWe loved the gorgeous bushland retreat of Kurrajong Trails and the return to the simpler life with no wifi and terrible reception so you can really disconnect as a couple or family. The lookout near the main residence is super amazing especially at sunset. There are a couple of walking tracks to explore from the site too.The entertainment shed has a large flat screen tv, an old ping pong table and a few lounges around a big fireplace. Outside is another massive fire pit which was setup and lit for us to enjoy on Saturday night. There is a sizeable kitchen inside too which seems setup for groups. The facilities are clean but a bit dusty and carry very basic kitchen appliances such as a fridge and stove. There isn’t a microwave, toaster (didn’t see one) or coffee machine so bring whatever you’ll need. The kettle is a stovetop so that’s cool. And there’s a small Weber BBQ on the deck which we used one night too. There isn’t a cafe for a good 25min drive so prep for that. I forgot my Aeropress so I was forced to have the coffee bags until we headed out for the day. All good. But no milk provided either so don’t forget that. The place was ultimately great for our 3 teenage boys. No phones for the weekend was difficult for them anyway but they got through their complaining and had a great time with each other and their little sister. The biggest challenge was the layout of the cottage. 4 beds are available in the loft (2 beds and 2 trundles) and all were fine. It was the noise that transferred to the downstairs bedroom that boomed through the ceiling. Small movements would creak the bed frame and shoot down as loud noises into the master bedroom. I think some large mats or carpet upstairs would help a lot!The queen bed was comfy with an amazing down filled doona which was super warm and cozy. We brought our own pillows. Finally, the lookout is amazing and the whole place is super dark after dusk so bring a torch. We stayed for 2 nights and had a good time. Thanks guys!
