One of the best pies in SA - steak and mushroom pie is primo. Delicious rolls and pastries also, give their mocha eclair a try!

A good bakery at the southern end of the main street of Hahndorf.The staff are friendly and offer quick service.There is a good range of baked goods including pies and quiches. Also delicious sweet pastries and cakes.The prices of the large baked pies are very good. Although the drinks are overpriced - $5+ for a juice is too much for self service.There is outdoor seating at the front, bench style as well as table & chairs.Sandwiches and rolls made to order are also available.There is no Wheelchair ♿ access or seating available.

Holy cow, if we didn’t go for dessert here, I would have just gone wine tasting in some winery to drown my sorrows. But here I am getting fat on cakes with a pitiful smile on my face. And I’m loving every minute of it.Seriously people. Grab a vanilla slice and a cappuccino from Otto’s. The Italians would be proud (I think… I’m not Italian)

Fresh and delicious baked goods! We had there famous vanilla slice and it did not disappoint!! I'm more annoyed how much I could've ate... but i would be rolling out of there instead of walking. So yummy and a MUST if you're ever in Hahndorf!

One of the best bakeries I've ever visited. The quality and taste was absolutely excellent. It was so good we went every morning during our stay in Hahndorf. The vanila slice is superb. Everything we tried was delicious. Great and friendly service. Highly recommended

WORST PASTRIES IVE EVER EATEN! Spent $40 on pastries for EVERY single one to taste like fridge. They were disgusting, fridgy and dry. An absolute waste of money, if you were still open when I came back past I’d have been back in demanding my money back.I don’t know who gave any awards to this cafe but they clearly had no tastebuds and no self respect.

Came here after reading the reviews. But it’s almost closing time thus not many choices of pies left. Had the sausage roll, blueberry cheesecake, GF orange cake and peanut butter cup with lattes. Coffee was great though the barista was under pressure as a crowd came gushing in.Orange cake was great but the peanut butter cup was more coconutty than peanut butter. Still quite happy there are GF choices.Probably be early if you want a good pie.
