New Whyalla Hotel
Poor service from the gentleman that's served us. Took our food order but then when we were ordering drinks, took each individual drink order and made it instead of taking a complete order. Which meant we waited an extra 10 minutes for our dinner as he hadn't put the food order through.Waitress collecting plates was quite rude and was trying to take our plates even though we were clearly still eating.Saving grace was the food. Quite nice.

The hotel is located in the quiet location. The rooms are a good size. Bed was comfortable. The food is from a primo cafe menu ….. same prices as Adelaide. Seafood plate and Mixed grill were delicious.

Food was fantastic staff were extremely helpful made the 18th a brilliant night chef Andrew was really nice and helpful so we're the 2 bar staff on that night (17 April)

Service wasn't the greatest, not made to feel welcome.Food was really average. I paid $25 for a salad and barely had a quater of a bowl of food.I gave my feedback politely.Won't be going back.

I've been coming to the new whyalla every Thursday for the last 8months for a meal with my partner up until recently it's always been a fantastic venu with great food and staff. I'm sorry to say it's changed and it's just not worth the money anymore. Maybe new owners as well as staff? But the service is terrible we stood standing and waiting to be seated at our table, to the pojnt I just picked one for my self and my pregnant partner. The borught out our garlic bread side dish uncut just a big played of garlic bread that you couldn't share. There rude. The staff behind the counter have no ideas how to process an order. And you have to repeat your meal 30x honestly just a bad experience the last few times. Sad to say I will not be coming back. The sundowner is where it's at for now. Happy eating people hope you have better luck then we did
