I placed an order yesterday after the cutoff for that days dispatch. Then received an email to say order had been dispatched. Checked tracking this morning and it is on the local carrier to be delivered today. I have never had such amazing fast dispatch and delivery ever!! 24 hours and the items were in my hand.It is the first time I have placed an order with Discount Digital, but if that and the phone service that I recieved is any indication, you will be my first option in the future. 10/10

I have had a positive experience dealing with DDP over the last few years - good service - good prices overall. I just bought 2x Phantom 2's from them (super fast timings).It's not a massive over hyped JB Hi-Fi or Harvey Norman shop - a nice lean, professional shop. Good knowledgeable staff - good price - good product.I do feel sorry for the people negatively impacted by the previous owners dealings (I have not been effected personally over the last 4-5 years).The new owners seem to be up front, honest and willing to work on the business - they openly discussed their distress over the previous owners conduct and impact on all parties involved.I am sure it is stressful for all parties as things are worked through - but please give them a try, pop past, visit and make up your own mind.

I bought a Sony A7 kit 2 weeks ago from DD Photographics. The camera and lens were delivered really quick just 2 days after i place an order on their website. I just took it back to their shop in North Sydney on Saturday to upgrade the firmware and it was done within 10 minutes and completely free. I found that their staffs are very friendly while talking to me about the accessories for my camera. I was a little bit worry after read all the reviews about them however i was told by my friends that the new owner is doing things very ethically and getting goods really fast so i trusted and tried my luck. I'm very happy with the services i received from DD Photographics and definitely recommend my friends to buy from them.

I placed a large order over the phone one afternoon and received my purchases the next afternoon 600klms away. Everything was exactly as i ordered, the customer service was excellent and the goods were packed very well. I was even able to pay by paypal which is added security. I gave 5 stars as i could not fault these guys.

Last year I bought a lens from DDP and it took one month to be delivered. This week, with some apprehension, I bought another one, on Monday , and was pleasantly surprised to receive it on Friday morning.Since then I have found out the business is under new ownership. Obviously the new owners have made very good changes regarding delivery times. I could not ask for better service than this and would recommend DDP to anyone, both for price and delivery time

Got lens for my camera ! i was skeptical about the warranty and service initially after reading some old reviews. But then went ahead and bought the lens and found it comes with genuine Aussie warranty. The products are very competitively priced and will be the cheapest you can find in Sydney. Don't hesitate to buy from Discount Digital ! Very good experience..

I have to admit when i looked at the feedbacks on the web i was a bit worried Especially since i ordered some expensive gear, but then i realised that those reviews were 3-4 years old , so a lesson to learn , check the dates of the reviews. Since those, It seems that D-d has changed management. For me i have been very happy with the level of service, communication with their staff was prompt, efficient and very friendly, the speed of delivery was very fast, my order arrived the day after it was sent from D-d, and i have found that D-D has probably the best prices of camera gear on the market. So yes you do deserve five stars, and will recommend you to anyone who wants to purchase camera gear

I have been buying professional photographic gear from DDP regularly in the last 15 years. Recently I experienced a very unusual issue with an expensive lens that I bought nearly 2 years ago. I contacted DDP and talked to Ocean.I was very impressed by the way he handled the matter. He showed me that he had great technical knowledge as we discussed the possible causes of the problem. Once we concluded that it was a warranty issue, DDP took care of the repair cost and I got my lens back and working in no time.Thank you Ocean and DDP for not letting me down with this super unusual defect. That was a pretty awesome (and rare) customers service that you showed me here!

These guys are good - Very reasonable pricing, they try to get things in as fast as possible and their range of products is great.Things can get a bit slow if there's more than two customers in the store though.I'm about to buy more lenses now!
