I would think twice about taking your health problems to this place especially if you are LGBTQI+, especially if you are traumatized by every visit to any dental specialist, and especially if you have a busy schedule. They are insensitive and rude and indifferent to their patients’ circumstances. They act like a public health provider even though they charge like wounded bulls. They act like they are doing you a favor by letting you submit your oral health to their far from tender care. The are critically disorganized, constantly changing appointment times without any thought of how their constant rescheduling might affect one’s own professional commitments, and when you show up on time according to their ever-changing scheduling needs, they tell you you’ll have wait an hour, dispute the appointment time, and when you get irate but still polite, they tell you to find another periodontist. I’ve never been so upset. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Stephen Austin is a very caring compassionate and skilful dentist. He went out of his way to care for my elderly mother. Couldn't praise him highly enough. He is very gentle and reassuring and explains procedures thoroughly.

Dr Stephen Austin was a great surgeon. He removed all four wisdom teeth and I experienced no pain. I was able to contact him out of hours when I had some questions and he provided me with all necessary information. Fabulous care!

Jillian Ong literally saved all my teeth from falling out. Couldn’t be more thankful to the team at Western Dental for helping me with my periodontitis when my teeth were in very bad shape. Less than a year later I still have work to do (turning 5 gaps to 2, braces, ect.) but I’m so happy with everything they have done! Thanks again!

Dr Austin is the best medical professional I have ever dealt with in my life. Knowledgeable and passionate about his job. This was maybe just me but after removing 4 wisdom teeth I had no pain 2 days in. The only thing I would suggest is receiving some sort of pack with the medication you need, non medicated mouth wash and floss so that i didn't need to get someone to run around for those items. More or less feedback than a criticism. If wisdom teeth grew back, I'd be going back to this place.

Highly recommend DR Mark Johnson, absolute gentleman. Had a somewhat tricky root canal to get completed. Mark was super efficient, professional and friendly, not to mention went the extra mile to squeeze the appointments in a short time frame so we could carry on travelling in our motorhome!

Outstanding service and attention to detail! After completing a years worth of dental treatment, I would happily recommend Dr Jason, Dr Alice and their team of nurses to my friends and family.To those who wish to know, I had a rather difficult case regarding my missing teeth (8 in total). In addition, due to my lack of teeth, I required a two sections to have significant bone and gum grafts before I was even able to start work on my implants.To help out others who may be in my situation make a decision on whether this clinic is for you, I will list the reasons why I would strongly recommend Jason and Alice:- Jason is very particular about delivering a good result and communicates the process very clearly.- Jason coordinated with the other required specialists to get me where I needed to be. He worked very well with Alice and my orthodontist in Adelaide to get everything in order for my implants.- Alice and her nurse worked extremely long hours to fit my two surgeries into two sessions. I was relocated for work and had to coordinate flying into Melbourne to continue the treatment plan. This made it much more convenient for me to schedule my life.- Alice is very good at what she does but still takes the time to show me how to floss properly.All in all, if you are currently in the position like I was, this is going to be a substantial decision in your life both financially and emotionally. It pays to have a good team that genuinely cares about the outcome.As for the future patients, if you had any doubts, I am more than happy for you to have peak at my before and after shots if you had any doubts of Jason and Alice's work. I am a very happy patient and if it helps you make a decision on where to go, I am glad I could help you do so.Again thank you everyone at the Western Dental Clinic!

The team at Western Dental have been amazing, they went out of their way to book my mum an appointment on short notice.My mum saw Dr Jason for her initial consultation. He was very friendly and professional and thoroughly explained her condition and provide her a treatment plan.Due to my mum’s emergency dental needs, Dr Alice stayed back after hours to accommodate my mum.We both had a very positive experience at the clinic.

Absolutely shocking!!My appointment with Jason Wang was 45 minutes late, then after explaining my complex medical history and asking for a written quote so I could access my own super to fund specific work that is needed as a result of a medical condition, I was told that replacing teeth that are causing me distress was purely cosmetic, and in his opinion not necessary.Quote, you already have two black teeth, 2 gaps isn’t much of a downgrade! I’ve never been spoken to by a so called medical professional in such an unprofessional way.He also showed me other clients photos with their names to show me my case “isn’t that bad”. No attempt to conceal anyone’s identity was made.He also asked for my surgeon’s number as he clearly thought I was exaggerating. I left in tears.I guess when you charge $280 for a consult you can afford to insult people.I would never recommend this clinic to anyone, ever.
