Such a friendly, welcoming and professional service! This was my first time visiting Marli Rose and it was such a great experience. Golsa was so lovely and took a lot of care with my haircut and keratin treatment. Will definitely be back!

If you have curly or frizzy hair please be very cautious going to this salon. The first time I came here to get my hair done for my wedding reception, I was treated with respect, professionalism and my hair looked incredible. The woman who assisted me over the phone has been very pleasant, kind and professional.The second time I came here for my birthday, which was last week, the stylist kept making odd remarks about my hair and made me feel uncomfortable. As she started doing my hair, I realised her technique was off. I kindly asked her to stop and she got upset and told me to go to a different salon next time.Fortunately, another stylist familiar with curly/frizzy hair types was able to help out, diffuse the situation and I left with amazing hair. But unfortunately, I can no longer recommend this salon and will never attend again. The initial stylist that helped me displayed prejudice against my hair type and her comments about me needing to go a different salon was absolutely awful. As a bi-racial woman I walked out of the salon feeling absolutely terrible about my hair and feeling like I am no longer welcome at this salon, simply because of the hair I was born with. I have been to several different salons and have always been treated with respect, professionalism and even with those unfamiliar with my hair type, still make me feel welcome and included.

If you haven’t been to Marli Rose, you haven’t experienced high-quality hairdressing! All the stylists are fantastic, but have always loved Sam and Emmy’s eye for my hair. Over the numerous times I’ve attended, both stylists understand my requests and excel my expectations every time! The polite customer service and cleanliness of the salon is definitely something that lifts the already great experience of going to Marli Rose. I find the Erskinville location also accessible with easy parking around the area and nice cafes. I recommend the salon to anyone looking for something new, wanting to change salons or looking for a high quality hairdresser. Always a pleasure going in :)

Helen and the team are wonderful. I feel so confident that they know my hair and what is best for it. I have fine, fair, long hair and I always come away feeling renewed and the colour and cut is always so professional. 100% trust in them.

I went in with bleached hair from another salon that I wanted to turn back to my natural brunette. Emily was fantastic with matching the colour for me. I also had finally made the decision to try a fringe, she helped me choose a style that suited my strong cowlick and even showed me how to style it at home. It was a lovely vibe, the conversation flowed easily. Some salons feel like you’re pressured to chat and for those with anxiety that can be stressful, I didn’t feel that here. Would definitely recommend and I’ll be back.
