I regret buying from this website, I purchased calcium powder through there online shop, 3 weeks went by and I hadn't heard anything since the purchase date, I sent an email asking for an explanation with no reply, I then tried to contact them through PayPal complaints and still no response, I escalated the complaint, PayPal contacted them and the explanation they gave was it had been shipped by regular post and there is no tracking number for that but yet they were happy to charge me $11 for postage. I'm grateful that PayPal sided in my favour if I had not paid through PayPal with their buyer protection I would've been out $28. Very disappointed.

This shop is not what it seems online! Seca reptiles has downsized from a warehouse style store front to the garage of a private residence, so make sure you ring them for their real address, because following the address on all their social profiles will take you 45mins in the wrong direction.After finally making it to the new residence I was initially impressed by the service and range of animals, and so I put an animal and enclosure set up on hold. When I went back 4 days later to pick up my purchases though, I was not so happy.To begin with, the owner tried to up the price on an item that we had initially discussed a final price for on my first visit, luckily though he gave in and gave me the price we had discussed earlier.I then went home with the enclosure that I’d purchased and set it up only to find out that the uv bulb that he had given me with a secondhand fixture wasn’t working, a bulb which he had assured me he had tested and had approximately 5months worth of use left in it. So giving him an opportunity to right this, I arranged to meet with him the next day so he could check the bulb and replace it if needed though, however when I arrived at his place which is a 45min drive from my house, he was not there without an explaination. So of course I tried to call him several times, but none of my calls for the rest of the day were received,. Finally, I sent him a text asking for an explaination and he had still not responded to me, this was several days ago.As a result I went to my local pet store to get their assessment on the uv globe, they said it had been out of service for months at least and then gave me a replacement, which of course cost me $50 I wasn’t planning on spending.I will not be going back to Seca Reptiles.
