We stopped here on a drive through to Smithton. The staff were friendly and cooked us a fantastic burger with the lot. It was an authentic Aussie roadside burger with the lot - that included bacon and egg and plenty of lettuce to fall out the back of your burger. A nice thick hot meat patty.All for a very reasonable $8 too.My companions had the chips, and the serving size was generous to overflowing.Highly recommended - I would stop here if I was coming past again .

Lovely staff, takeaways looked fresh and yummy but only stopped for a drink, next time I'm passing I will stop for something to eat.

Customer service shocking, kids running the shop, paid for thick shakes then went off to serve another customer without doing my drinks first,,won't be back

The young girls there always serve u with a smile. They do a great job. They have a good range of ready to go food. Don't have to wait long & I'm partial to their mixture of milk n thick shakes in the banana flavour. Good work girls keep it up.

Typical roadside convenience take away store deep freedom goods and hamburgers etc clean food is good service is great as well

Just the best takeaway around. If you like fish and chips then you'll love the big pieces of fish and generous portion of chips and both the fish and chips are excellent. I drive off the adjacent highway just for their takeaways or plan my travels around stopping just for their takeaway.

I always go the old coast road cos i like the hot food more than anywhere else. Best take away food on the coast & it's like a routine were I have to call in everytime I come past ecause there food so good, & cooked perfectly, I usually get a blackcurrant maximum or powerade 1 litre drink, but after reading all these reviews & mentions of banana thick shakes I think I well deffinately be trying one next time I come past. Highly recommend & I am fussy with what takeaway I choose as my favourite, the other one I like is east of latrobe on the highway, a Servo on the hill, bainmaree is full around lunch time also.
