When we stopped here for lunch there was no soul in Soul, it was nothing but a somber affair. Average food, below average coffee and terrible service.Soul could be so much more given its fit out and decor but today it was let down by its service most of all.

The cappuccino was good. The ham and cheese croissant was served hot without being destroyed in a jaffle press. So it was presented preserved Light & fluffy" as it should be

Soul Cafe and Wine Bar
We used Soul Cafe to cater for a function at the Bordertown RSL last week. The food was so good. Yummy homemade sausage rolls and quiches, a range of salad-filled sandwiches and wraps, and delicious peppermint slices and melting moments. Soul Cafe kindly delivered the food warm to the RSL in boxes ready to be served. We also had a few lunches (paninis, dumplings, vegan tacos) and coffees at the cafe while organising the function. The coffee and food was delicious. Thank you so much Amanda for all your help with the function and your wonderful food. We highly recommend Soul Cafe. Anne and Alex

Massive lunch - very generous, the food is really good, the best peri peri chicken burger I had since moving to Australia. Good piece of chicken in Panko crumbled; the nachos were a delish too. The sweet potato chips are a must try - they taste freshIt’s quite hot so my husband had a beer (Mismatch & Pirate life) which he loved and being a tea lover I had an earl-grey.The cafe is very clean, with friendly staffs.

Nice cafe in this tiny town - great spot to stop for lunch on the Adelaide-Melbourne route.Homemade chicken pie was delicious, toasted sandwiches are great, and the coffee was really good.

Lovely old local bank that's been transformed into a cafe. Helpful, friendly staff. Great display of food both savoury and sweet (appear to be home made). Hot and cold drinks and also liscenced. Open 6 days (til early/mid afternoon). Table service. Onsite toilets and outdoor covered seating
