The cup food is really good.Majority of their sushi are okay, however I find the karage chicken sushi, dripped in sauce and it can be too much.

Really good sushi there. Feels and tastes so fresh. The rice was not dry, and the seaweed was not soggy or chewy unlike other sushi shops. It was perfect sushi. Well done to Sushi Guru. I will be back for more.

Sadly it took me some weeks to finally have had enough to never go back. 9 times out of ten the food they are serving is obviously reheated yesterday fare. Unchewable chicken, Completely stale tempura, and mushy soft sushi with only the ends glistening with sauce.It has been so reliably terrible that I have to swear them off all together.Saving money at the cost of serving shoe leather that everyone can tell is old... Isn't how you stay in business. .

Tried the new store at the Ipswich Riverlink Shopping Centre today. Chicken nigiri is my typical go-to when we get sushi (as I'm not a huge nori fan and it only used a small strip), but this uramaki-type Crispy Chicken Crunch option was the closest alternative they had. Bit more seaweed than I'd normally prefer but it wasn't overpowering and there was plenty of chicken and avocado used in the filling. The crispy fried onion on top is a nice addition that I haven't had or seen before. Good value at $10 for the serve too.
