I rang Rob based on his reviews and he gave me great advice about my car which is tricky to tint and how to get the best tint job. Rob put me onto a third party to assist his process, which meant I had to wait a few weeks to get the job done but well worth it.Rob tinted my car while I waited and walked me through the process which I found very interesting. The end result was great and I’m glad I took his advice. Rob is a no nonsense straight talking operator and was great to deal with which is why he gets some much repeat business. He is not the cheapest but you get what you pay for! Thanks again Rob.

I usually don't write a review on a service that I have never used. But I wanted to for this one. I wanted a tint done on my car, but Rob advised against it due to a few issues with my car make and tints. Rob isn't out to make a buck and not worry about the quality of work. He seems to know what he is talking about though experience and clearly detailed why a tint wouldn't work on my car. I am happy with the explanation and professionalism. It really sounds like Rob is out to be professional and not just make a sale.

I recently had my brand new mazda CX3 tinted by Rob, to say I am happy with the with the exceptional job Rob did is a total understatement, my car looks amazing, such a professional job, your workmanship is just outstanding .I did a huge amount of research before deciding to approach Rob as there is so many options out there on offer and it’s hard to know if you will get a quality product.Clearly I made a great choice , no question of the quality of the product and definitely value for money and above all a pleasure to do business with such an honest and genuine man.Search no more people, I cannot recommend Rob more highly.Thank you so much Rob, love your work.Anne

I found Rob's review on a forum while doing my car purchasing homework, then I got in touch with him and finally decided to get my car tinted at his place. It turned out to be the decision that I would never regret, especially after seeing the whole process myself. I was amazed by the quality and how seriously Rob took his work. After doing much research and due diligence to find a reputable tinting workshop, I came across Rob and his business Car Tint in Ringwood well over a year ago. Forums and review sites, including Google Review raved on about Rob's professionalism and quality work, as well as his meticulous and perfectionist nature. I didn't manage to be able to catch Rob back then due to his busy schedule, so I had been left without a tint on the car since. Finally decided to get this job knocked off so looked up Rob again, and amazed to see still no blemishes in reviews for Rob after such time! I contacted Rob again a few days ago to see if I could book in my car, and was surprised to hear that he was just about retired (semi-retired), and only does the odd jobs now at home due to some personal circumstances of his. Felt very fortunate and lucky that Rob happily agreed to work on my car to install the tint. Would have been spewing if Rob had stopped completely, would have been a missed opportunity! Got the job done today and after my first hand experience with Rob, I can vouch for the professionalism, quality work, meticulous and perfectionist nature. This is very rare, and I felt very privileged to be service by Rob. I live about 18 minutes away for Rob's residence, and he topped it off by dropping me back home after I dropped off my car and then going out of his way to pick me back up from my home back to his for me to collect my car. Rob did a perfect job on our Kia Stinger. We asked for the cliche 'darkest legal tint' and I can't see it getting any better than this. It really completes the look of the car. Strongly recommended.

Installed the Charcool" tint on my 2014 Hyundai i30 on 29 Jan 2019 (4 years after I purchased it).Rob worked professionally and explained what he was doing.Door panels were removed without breaking any clips. No window seals were cut.There were small bubbles near the edge of some windows due to the manufacturer's "dot matrix pattern" but they did reduce over time as expected.Rob enjoys a good chat while he's working as well. Good chap.I will use his services for my next car - while the price may seem high

To know a good tint job, you have to encounter a bad tint job first. Every car my family has ever owned has had its windows tinted, sometimes by the dealer, sometimes not. Whenever the car dealer did it we always found a reason to send it back, sometimes for bubbles that never go away, sometimes for strips missing around the demister wires, sometimes for dirt under the film!Then I discovered Rob Tait and his business. I would never go anywhere else. Rob is a true specialist and he knows how to get a great result with no fuss. He's happy for you to stay and watch him work, which I recommend everyone to do. Try that at your local franchised dealer service department. Sure he doesn't compete on price, because he doesn't have to. I would pay more for time, skill, experience and getting it right the first time.
