Due to the new standard that has been put forward for fire alarms in rental properties, we needed ours to be seen to as soon as possible. Matt was extremely efficient, kind and informative during this process. Matt had a prompt work manner, exceeding communication skills and extensive knowledge on all things electrical. He went above and beyond to make sure his services aligned with our busy schedule too. We couldn’t speak highly enough of him! Would recommend!!!!!

We had Matt come over to fix a few power points, install some others, and install an outdoor light. Matt is quick to respond to emails and texts. He did a complete job, including identifying what could be a systemic problem with the power points that were installed when the house was built. He goes out of his way to make sure he's covered all of our requests and questions. I had some questions concerning power supply and how it was affecting my computer monitors. Matt came out and investigated and offered a couple of solutions.I would highly recommend Matt as he is friendly, knowledgeable, and does quality work. Very good value.

We had an issue this morning with our safety switch tripping, we sent a message to Matt who contacted us very quickly & tried to troubleshoot the problem without success. Matt thankfully came out late morning finding that we had a problem with our hot water system. Matt fixed the issue at a very reasonable price. I also got a quote for new ceiling fan installation, outdoor lights, socket replacement & air conditioning repair which we will definitely go ahead with.I would have no hesitation in recommending Matt he was so helpful, professional & a really nice guy.Thanks Matt.

Sadly it wasn’t fixable as had rusted out. Matt assisted in helping us to find a good plumber and did a great quality job wiring the new system in. We purchased an older property at the end of the year and had identified a few things that needed attention. After delaying calling an electrian for a couple of months, I decided to give Purkiss Electircal a call after seeing them on Instagram.Matt was great to deal with from the get go. He was punctual and very professional. He was happy enough to talk through the jobs with me in way that was easily understood.Matt also went beyond what was required of the job and inspected our solar hot water system, which turns out has a leak that we never would have been aware of otherwise.He is a really nice person to deal with, up front, transparent, and takes pride in doing a great job. He quoted us a fair price for the work he undertook. The work was done with a lot of care and attention - never rushed. We'll be calling Matt and Purkiss Electrical from now on for any electrical work we require. Definitely recommend.
