Dalby Mobile Mechanic

Used Dalby Mobile Mechanic to service my car, it was done so very quickly and at a great price. Considering the car hadn’t been serviced ever, Brendan did an awesome job at servicing the whole thing, was friendly and got the job done. Will definitely be in contact with him in the future.

Very bad experience. I saw an advert in Dalby facebook group and as I use my car everyday for working I thought mobile would be nice and let’s try with belt change so I know if it’s worth using it later on if needed. So I called to get my belt changed. 120 petrol Prado - should be like a 20 minute job. Mechanics came by no test drive, nothing. Didn’t even have a belt - did some cleaning and lubing and said if it makes noise tomorrow then need to change pulleys too not only belt. Asked 50 dollars for that. I just had a full safety check and service actually so it seemed strange to change pulleys but well let’s trust mechanics. 3 pulleys and a belt change 490 dollars and from the working car that I used everyday with no complaints I got a car unable to drive because the belt was fitted wrongly and ripped apart and bits of belt were stuck behind pulleys. I didn’t even move the car at all after the change because it sounded too wrong under the bonnet and that noise was straight after the belt change. Mechanic said that it is because of the new belt and it needs a day or two. Wanted to give him a chance to fix this mess up because I need a car everyday but the mechanic was out of town. So I had to call another mechanic and pay double. Now waiting for a refund.Don’t recommend using him.
