Thank you Mark for your help in helping me walk again like a normal person. I know it has been a while and my recovery from surgery done by another doctor took a long time to heal. I am grateful that I was recommended to see you as I can now run and play with my dogs like a normal person.Thank you again.

I had both feet operated on by Mark Gilheany. It is now over 2 years ago and I still have as much pain in my big toe as I did 8 months after the surgery. The interesting thing was that I hardly had a problem with that foot to start of with, there was a small bunion and I thought I might as well get it fixed in case it got worse. However after the operation I was told that a big toe reconstruction had been done. There was no pain or problem with my big toe before, but since the operation it hurts every day, which is hard to tolerate when u are an active person. I have been back to see M.G several times since, and there does not seem to be a clear answer as to why this procedure was done, nor why it still hurts so much.I have since seen an other podiatrist who is baffled as to why this procedure was done, as looking at my X-rays that joint looked perfectly normal before the operation. I will be seekng another surgeons opinion, as I can't live with this pain, pain that was a lot worse after the operation with Mark Gilheany.

I walked in with a painful swollen foot, James did a very thorough assessment, sent me for an xray and waited for me to come back to be reviewed. It turns out I had 2 fractures that needed urgent attention. He co ordinated with my gp and the hospital to get reviewed. I am so grateful. I would highly recommend being under his care for your podiatry needs.

Dr Mark Gilheany did a great job on my feet. The arthritis was so painful I could barely walk and my knees and hips were being affected. There is no joint pain anymore and I am on my feet all day. The fact that he comes to Traralgon in Gippsland once a month saved me trips into Melbourne which involves about 6 hours travelling. Thank you Mark - the fusions I had been recommended by another surgeon would have been a big mistake so I am so glad I saw you.

I would highly recommend Dr Mark Gilheany. as he is very professional and makes you feel 100% confident that he will help you with your ailment.Dr Mark Gilheany was recommended to me after my foot had not healed from a previous operation from another surgeon. Dr Gilheany repaired my foot I was able to walk unaided after 3 weeks compared to my previous experience of 12 weeks whilst I was still having discomfort after 14 months. You will not be disappointed with the results, thank you :-)

Mark Gilheany has operated on both my feet and I would highly recommend him to anyone whose feet need attention. He has corrected other operations I have had performed from orthopaedic surgeons. His authentiticy, his professionism, combined with his beautiful manner make the entire process of foot surgery as minimally invasive as possible. His skills are brilliant and I feel that he is a perfectionist. Joan Masefield

James Ferris sorted me out with some custom printed authodic inserts that are working well. James is definitely very knowledgeable and an expert in the field. Highly recommended.

Excellent know how and service. Extremely thorough. First checked by foot surgeon then podiatrist. Best practice I've been to.
