Dr Lai is an amazing practitioner. He always listens to our concerns intently and explains things in a way that is easy to understand and clearly. He is always friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend him and his practice.

We needed to find an optometrist who are good with kids. Cammeray Optometrists was recommended to us by a mother of our daughter's school friends. Not only Dr.Lai is very thorough with his work, my daughter (6-y) greatly enjoyed the experience as well. I ended up book another appointment for her sister. Prior to this, for a period of about 2 years, I had this vision problem and visited several optometrists and ophthalmologists, and no one could find what was wrong with my eyes and I gave up. After having great experience bringing my kids to see Dr. Lai, I tried my luck booking an appointment for myself. Dr. Lai quickly found that I had a cataract with my left eye (which is quite rare for someone at my age, I'm in my 30s). Recently I had a cataract surgery. It greatly improved my vision and quality of life & work.

Our family have been going to Dr Lai at Cammeray Optometrist for our eye care for over 10 years and appreciate his knowledge, diligence and patience in his interaction with parents who are in their late 70s. Dr Lai is always happy to discuss and clarify any concerns we have.

Dr Lai. is an awesome optometrist, his understanding of his patients is so personal and kind. His professional expertise is very reassuring and I have complete trust in him. Outstanding personalised service. I've been seeing Lai for a few years now and am very impressed with his professionalism, knowledge and approachable & caring manner. He has excellent relationships with some of the best eye specialists in Sydney if there's something that needs extra care. He also personally helped me pick out some great frames in about 15 minutes, after I had spent weeks looking around. A fantastic doctor to have in the neighbourhood.

Delighted with the service at Cammeray Optometrists!I have had problems with my glasses prescription from other optometrists, finding glasses prescribed were distorting my vision.Lai was able to correct this problem & I can now see to drive without seeing double and am able to read street signs.I would recommend Lai to anyone, especially those who have a complex eye problem.Highly qualified, charming manner & professional attitude from Lai & staff.

Dr Huynh has been doing my eye test for many years. Always meticulous, yet friendly, taking the time to explain each process. Appointment is always on time. Great range of glasses and sunglasses. Staff are always helpful and patient. Have referred many friends without hesitation.
