Visited there while on my last day holidaying in Sydney as a tourist. Thank you for the hospitality to a traveling visitor like myself as a global body of Christ.Will visit there again in my next visit to Sydney

Great vibe! People are welcoming and friendly. Not too big that get drowned by people but not too small either that you feel that there’s something lacking. I love going to the City Campus every time I find myself in Sydney.

Hillsong Church Waterloo Campus
As a first time to a Hillsong Church, I was surprised that someone at the door said I cannot enter and my small backpack had to be locked away in a storeroom to be picked up after the service. I did see someone with their backpack inside. The people inside was more welcoming and friendly. I hope no one especially a non-believer would feel the same way as I did. The service was great though!

Hillsong Church Waterloo Campus
I hadn't been to a Church in some time, all I can say is wow! It's very different to how I remembered it in a very positive way. Great venue, very lovely people. Great place to come even if you go by yourself, They have a coffee stand there however it was closed. The speakers are great, you can hear clearly and they have 3 big screens and I believe 2 smaller ones as well. Great option!

Went once as I wanted to explore my relationship with Jesus and God. Never again felt really weird and predatory. Kinda like a cult. Not a loving and welcoming environment do NOT recommend unless you like grown men coming up behind you and touching your lower back and whispering in your ear about God and how I need to repent as I’m a sinner and I need to give myself over to avoid Hell. I’m 17 so made me feel very awkward I don’t like strangers trying to convert me and especially touching me without consent.

I came here for the first time in 2019. I have to say great worship service. But I’m a bit disappointed with the staff and people there on how they interact. Everybody seems so busy not to interact with us that my family felt we’re invisible and everyone seems eager to leave soon. I don’t know if it’s Australian culture to quickly get out of the building after the service. I hope I’m wrong.
