Really well done entrance park to Kapunda. Fabulous statue with great information about the site. Worth going across the road to the viewing platform. You then see the bullocks etc.

A nice statue, stabilised ruins and landscaped grounds. It is still work in progress as a reststop.

This did surprise us. We were looking for a spot to have lunch and thought we could see a giant Santa and this was mid January. Instead it was the town's Miner statue with a Santa costume overlay. Brilliantly done! So we pulled in, had lunch and then had Squizz at the statue and rings. We also read the data boards which were there and found it all very interesting. Thanks Kapunda.

The Map the Miner rest place has sheltered seating, picnic tables & rocks with copper adorning the wall, plus attractive tiling in places.I'm taking my Grandkids there on the holidays..
