Good: food is really good; staff are nice; the IGA across the street has reasonable take-out food if you’re still hungry (see ‘Not so good’)Not so good: serving sizes (small); room temperature beer and white wine; 25 minutes to get our drinks: 3 out of 8 dishes ordered weren’t available; 3 people in our party had to start eating (so their food wouldn’t go cold), and finished before the other 5 dishes came out; table next to us had similar issues.Suggestion for improvement: always have at least one staff member rostered has experience running a restaurant, and if they are rostered, then have them at front of house managing others who may not be as experienced.

Have enjoyed brunch here with friends a few times over the holidays. Food was delicious and our waiter Jarrod was very friendly, efficient and helpful making sure our orders were correct. Lovely setting inside and outside

We went for the feed me Menu & I’ll admit that even though the food was pretty tasty, the portions were incredibly small & not worth the pennies.I may have to give this place another try a la carte, some of the dishes we saw swanning past us looked lovely.

Today I booked for lunch for 4 and was greeted with no tables. Someone had to be moved to accommodate us.Then, we went to order and were told that the kitchen was not taking orders at 1:00. Needless to say we were not happy as we had booked.Our order finally came . We were presented with the incorrect food and told “this is all we have left” with no prior warning or request for food allergies.The drinks we ordered never came and the ones that did, wine and lemon lime and bitters were room temperature/ warm.At the end of our meal we received cold coffee.Needless to say we were not happy with the experience for the money that we paid.

My 2 stars are breakfast-specific. Dinners are better. But here in Balnarring we have a huge breakfast culture.Here, nothing is cooked to order, sandwiches mostly that are neither healthy nor elegant. It continues to he unpredictable. 30 minutes after opening and the premade Avocado wrap is “unavailable” and they tell us after they took our order. No excuse. People are nice, coffee is good, but something is wrong somewhere.If you want a satisfying breakfast, try elsewhere.
