The Goat Paddock
This is a really lovely place for a walk or a picnic. We had a wander through here before going to the Woolwich Pier hotel for lunch. The path leads you down to the Woolwich Dock and also panoramic view of the Lane Cove river. It's so peaceful here and a lovely spot to have a picnic in the sun. The grounds are quite expansive. There were lots of families outside enjoying the sunshine with kids playing on the grass areas.

Great little area hidden away opposite the Woolwich Pier Hotel. Makes a good walking loop down around the marina and back up through Clarkes Point.

For a walk in the heart of Sydney, it offers history in a beautiful setting of the inner harbour /river overlooking Cokatoo Island. It has a beautiful city scape with a touch of remoteness to it. It is not wheelchair accessible, or easy for some who find stair hard, but walking around the walf, tracks, park and lookout are worth it.The short walk is well structured, well spaced, just satisfying for a short stroll. The hanging swamp was my favourite within the dock. Loads of natural flora and fauna for Sydney.Well worth the short stroll, picnic etc if you are in the area or need somewhere to chill that's different.
