Our small family called into Kape Centro for our lunch today and I could not have had a more amazing customer experience. On a hot day in Childers the outside seating area is breezy and cool - so pleasant to enjoy a family meal, seats are comfy… tables were clean on arrival !Some may know the difficulties in long road trips with young kids and boy oh boy did my baby have quick hands when he spilt my toddlers hot choccy across the table. But the customer service was amazing afterwards ( in general really ) but it’s just so refreshing when you don’t have customer service served with a side of frustration.Keep up the great work! Side note Childers looks as though it’s a fantastic little town to stop by and visit !!

I was here at midday on a Sunday. They were fairly busy. Mixed up the order but fixed it quickly, then brought the wrong food to the table, but ours arrived a few minutes later. Staff were all friendly, a bit flustered though. The lychee and lemon iced tea was nice. I has a toasted sandwich was good. You can definitely mess up a toastie so I was very happy with mine. The chicken and mushroom pie was also good. The apple crumble cheese cake was okay. It lacked flavour, and I didn't taste the apple at all.

Food looked absolutely beautiful. Staff are so inviting and lovely. Customer service amazing. We ordered the Eggs Benedict with Salmon, Eggs Benedict with mushrooms and ham and fish and chips. Got half way through the eggs Benedict and found that there what looked like a spider to me. Returned the meal to the staff, whom promptly returned the meal to the cook. The approached me and my family and advised that it wasn't a spider, the sauce was made freshly this morning. I explained to the cook, why does it have legs! Cook stuck to what she said originally. They didn't offer a refund, or even a partial as I did eat half of the meal before my arachnid find. I request a partial refund, staff gave a full refund. Eggs Benedict with mushrooms and ham was superb.

When I walked in I was faced with no fewer than 7 signs abjuring me not to enter an area of the shop, 1 sign urging me to only eat food and drink while there (I think the word purchased" had been left out) and yet another which "strictly" told me not to associate with pets except if I was blind. Whew!But I overcame these negatives

Our experience was a bit lacking. Long wait time for food. Pricey for the quality of food. My pulled pork sandwich was cold. My partner ordered a chai and got a hot chocolate instead, and a very bland one at that so it took a while to figure out if it was just a bad chai or the wrong thing altogether. It's in a great location and has potential but our experience unfortunately didn't match up.

What a terrific experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The menu offers something for everyone. Classics like burgers and specials. For those that like breaky there are a tonne of options. The steak sanga looked magnificent, so do yourself a favour

A really nice atmosphere, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered rosti with avocado, salmon and poached eggs. The avocado had brown, rotting spots (overripe) and the eggs were like hard rubber balls (I'm not joking, I could have bounced them on the floor). I've dined there a few times now and I have to say the disappoinment has been consistent, unfortunately. I won't be going back.

Terribly unwelcoming!The place has a large outdoor area with tables & chairs & a large deck area at the front both suitable places for patrons to sit outside with a dog but the large signs at the front warn anyone approaching that they are not welcome with a pet dog,Our party of 12 people with 2 dogs who had travelled up the highway for 7 hours would have liked to sit & rest for a while but upon seeing the signs we turned around & didn't enter. The bakery across the road received our money instead.Someone here really needs to write the blackboard offers clearer too, it really doesn't make sense!If my little dog is not welcome then how welcome do I feel? Are all assistance dogs allowed here as per QLD Gov regulations or only guide dogs as the signs say?I refuse to spend money at unwelcoming places like this, if I could give this place 0 stars I would!TERRIBLE!
