Found a new place to stop for coffee / foodJust by the river at Murwillumbah NSWLooks are deceiving from the front but wait till you go round the backReally enjoyed our meals & coffeeOnly comment s would be serve our meal on a plate to manage my meal to cut it up to eat - to hard in a basket.Coffees arrived & hot just how we ordered.Service was lovely, even acknowledged us - staff stated “ sorry running a bit late with our meals “ - Thank youPrice very reasonable for today’s price s , great value.Clean toilet.Great place to visit in a quiet corner by the Tweed RiverWill return

Having just visited Star Bird Cafe for morning tea with Residents of an Aged Care Village, I would like to give some positive feedback.Firstly, the coffee was good, although staff could distinguish between cup" and "mug" - not small or large CUP.Crockery and glasses were lovely.Only Banana Bread and Chocolate Brownie on menu for M/T

What a hidden gem, great find. Will be our go to when on town. Dog loved lying on the lawn under the trees by the river. Fish jumping & birds singing..

What a little hidden treasure that’s just opened up! The gardens are expansive (and from the road very deceiving). We loved the relaxed atmosphere, cool river breeze, shady trees and cute as garden furniture & landscaping! My girl wasn’t happy with what she ordered so ‘Roxy’ came to the rescue and my daughter was thrilled! Delicious, wholesome and local produce…what’s more to love are the chirpy staff. Oh and all the amazing alternative milk options! Pecan- yuuuum. Can’t wait to return!

Best coffee anywhere in Murwillumbah.Amazing burgers and pies.I love going somewhere where everything is homemade, and you can eat for $7 or $20, depending on how hungry you are.My favourite new joint in town.

Great cafe, we went in today for brunch and were met with friendly staff, nice scenery, great food and coffee . Will return again :)
